Sandown Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.10PM Download the Watchdog App Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres
#5 Mepunga Stellar – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has finished down the track her last couple around the one turn, a big plus here is getting back to Sandown where she was a winner four starts ago from box five leading all the way.
Backed that up with a runner-up performance next time out, seems very comfortable here around the two turns and comes at good value here.
Race 2. 6.35PM Blackbook on Watchdog App Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres
#8 Curator – $1.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks a potential superstar first look at the track last start speared out to lead and ran an astounding 29.3, a time that’d be competitive in Group company.
Is drawn well out in box eight to muster and show that early pace and if he finds the front again will not be coming back to them running that time.
Race 3. 6.58PM greyhoundfacts.com.au Grade 6 – 515 metres
#1 Weblec Flare – $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another odds on favourite who looks all out a winner here, will have to make a serious mistake not to make it back-to-back Sandown triumphs and three of his last four.
Muster’s speed off the mat and drawn the red should punch up, hold these out and race away with it running time.
Race 4. 7.19PM Toongabbie Lodge Grade 5 – 515 metres
#8 Junk food Junkie – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Closer to the end of his career than the start but is still a serious threat in any Victorian sprint race especially dropping back to fifth grade when he’s mixed it with the best.
Should get a nice cart across from Lakeview Walter and is a good chance of clearing them at the first turn.
Race 5. 7.40PM TAB Venue Mode grade 5 – 715 metres
#5 Knicks Bale – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been one of the more reliable dogs going around at the moment, whether it’s five hundred, six hundred or in this case seven hundred has not run a big race often at big odds.
Is new to the seven hundred but skill set looks to suit, can maintain a high cruising speed for a long time and might out pace these.
Race 6. 8.04PM RSN Central 10:30AM Weekdays Mixed 4/5 – 595 metres
#1 Drako Bale – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Versatile chaser who bounces between the sprint and middle distance with ease, was closing off powerfully in the Maturity heats last start and steps back up to the six hundred here.
Knows how to utilize an inside draw unlikely to lead but will get the camp and surge on the run home.
Race 7. 8.25PM TAB Long May we Play Free for All – 515 metres
#7 Dr. Tucker -$2.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Would be surprised is this price holds up, was as dominant as ever last start making Papi Go Fast look slow in the early stages as he burnt it off mid-race.
Is well drawn again out in the seven, he can take a few steps before exploding down the middle of the track.
Race 8. 8.49PM TAB Melbourne Cup November 26 Grade 4 – 515 metres
#1 Plan Ahead – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Going great guns of late, was a winner here three starts ago in 29.55 from box two building up the revs before driving through on the fence.
Since then has stepped right up in class finishing fourth to Jepara at The Meadows and third behind the freakish Aston Fastnet here, will get left alone to do his thing from the draw.
Race 9. 9.10PM Accell Therapy Grade 5 – 515 metres
#3 Carry on Maxwell – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Tinker Craig in the one has a brilliant early turn of foot, but Carry on Maxwell has the speed to track that move and has shown the power in recent Meadows runs to be able to cut the leaders down.
Should secure an ideal trail here only question is if the 515 just might be a tad too short for his skill set.
Race 10. 9.34PM XP3020 Grade 5 – 515 metres
#3 Mr. Neo – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been in slashing form over the short course leading over the four hundred metres for fun winning two of his last three.
Does have experience over the five hundred and comes back to Sandown a more mature chaser than last time, looks the leader and will try to hold on.
Race 11. 9.55PM Giddy-Up Grade 5 – 515 metres
#7 Weblec Thunder – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Simply found one better in Shima Bolt last start, was too quick for the favourite in the early stages but it was his first run back from the shorts at Healsville and couldn’t keep touch in the middle stages.
Will trip fitter for that run and should have no problem overcoming a wide draw with his natural speed.
Race 12. 10.17PM sandowngreyhounds.com.au Grade 5 – 515 metres
#4 Aragog – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Always worth a play when he comes up at this price, doesn’t win out of turn but is an honest as anything in this field.
Is capable of getting away well from the four with a vacant outside, don’t dismiss him here.
