Sandown Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.02PM Download the Watchdog App Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres

#5 Mirror Illusion – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Looks the best prospect here, only seven starts to her name but is a Meadows winner just two back in 30.22 from box four leading all the way and this looks similar here.

If she can avoid the speed coming from box seven, she’s clearly the strongest of this bunch and shouldn’t be far away from leading.

Race 2. 6.27PM GRV VIC Bred Series Final Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres

#8 Time to Roll – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

A lot of talented young types in this field, but Time to Roll being drawn out in the eight might be the trump card here, the six and five should go hunting for the fence, if he shows his early speed could circle them early.

Is yet to draw outside but has won from the middle of the line and time wise matches all of these.

Race 3. 6.49PM Blackbook on The Watchdog App Restricted 2-3 Wins – 515 metres

#4 Ridge – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

If this was at The Meadows he’d come up much shorter than this, is a quick winner there and recently ran 30.08 in defeat hitting the line strong.

Needed a look first time here last week but still boxed on well for third, vacant box inside is a reliable beginner and will finish with the best of them.

Race 4. 7.13PM Racing at The Meadows Next Thursday Free for All – 515 metres

#2 Tiggerlong Tonk – $1.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Very skinny price but deserves to be, recently won the Group One Perth Cup and returned to Melbourne winning the Group One Harrison Dawson from box eight no less.

He’s the perfect breed of speed and power combined and in a small field is even more of a chance to get to the front and run time.

Race 5. 7.37PM TAB.COM.AU Grade 5 – 515 metres

#3 Auspicious Queen – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Should get a clean run out of the boxes with the speedy Yozo Bale drawn to her inside, he always leads for fun but this bitch is not a bad beginner herself and can tack on to him mid-race.

Won well recently at the Meadows storming over the top late and can land close in the run and do the same here.

Race 6. 7.58PM McKenna Memorial July 8 Mixed 4/5 – 595 metres

#3 One Night Only – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Gets a much needed reprieve with an inside box draw here, normally leads his races but hasn’t been able to do so drawing seven and five his last two times out.

He should follow Drako Bale out from box two and has superior mid-race speed to that dog which is where he can really turn the screws and win this race.

Race 7. 8.22PM RSN Central 10.30AM Weekdays Grade 5 – 595 metres

#6 Zipping Annabel – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been racing in harder company than this and having no luck, this is a drop in class and even though you’d prefer her inside she could find herself right on the speed from box six.

If she does get near them early she’s a huge danger late often doing her best work rounding he home turn.

Race 8. 8.43PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 5 Final – 595 metres

#5 Jarick Bale – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Powerful type who’s capable of bullocking his way into the clear early from box five just as he did winning in good time from box four in the heat.

Is versatile in he doesn’t need to lead them to win can sit a few lengths off and wind up with a big finish.

Race 9. 9.07PM Accell Therapy Grade 5 – 515 metres

#2 Sierra Foxtrot – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been running enormous of late without winning, was twice behind the slippery Aston Rupee around the one turn track and was storming home late from this same draw last week missing by a nose to Broady Lights.

Can begin much better from box two and showed he’s well and truly suited to the 515 metre trip.

Race 10. 9.28PM XP3020 Grade 5 – 515 metres

#8 Ha ha Magoo – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Was heading early by the flying Gypsy Yankee last start which left him posted in the cheap seats last start, looks to be much less speed drawn around him on this occasion.

Has relished wide boxes in the past all his wins coming from box five and out, is also a recent winner from box seven here.

Race 11. 9.53PM Giddy-Up Grade 5 – 515 metres

#1 Shy But Savage – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Surprised to see him come up this quote, on his day is well and truly capable of leading this field first out first home from box one.

Confidence may be a little shaky with a fall three starts back but has run a good second since then and looks due.

Race 12. 10.12PM TAB Melbourne Cup November 26

#4 Crackerjack Lach – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been smashing the line over the short course, looks to be crying out for more distance and the 515 at Sandown should do the trick.

Knows how to overcome a middle-draw, has won three from three when drawn the four and can extend that record.
