Sandown Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 3.27PM Cup Preludes Tonight Grade 7 – 515 metres
#4 Quebec Bale – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Only three starts into his career has shown plenty of promise, in the market first up, a win second up and was behind the freakish Wow’s She’s Fast last time out.
Is not drawn alongside any jets here and straight line speed should see him on the speed and able to show his five hundred metre capacity.
Race 2. 3.47PM Greatness is Coming Grade 6 – 515 metres
#7 Loxton Bale – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A litter sister to out first tip, has shown promising early flashes as well a two-time winner at The meadows before she too ran into Wow She’s Fast running second in last weeks race.
Has proven she’s a five hundred metre commodity and has flown the lids in both her wins, looks good value at the quote.
Race 3. 4.07PM Toongabbie Lodge Mixed 6/7 Final – 595 metres
#2 Amnesty – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Not prepared to sack her on last weeks run, went down odds on but performed admirably running third after finding a tonne of trouble early.
Moves in a few slots to box two this week, should find less trouble early and will get a better indication of what she’s capable of at the trip.
Race 4. 4.22PM TAB Melbourne Cup November 26 – 515 metres
#1 Ollie – $12 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The veteran chaser has been cruelled by box draws of late, coming up with the eight in three of his last five starts, he’s no superstar and can’t win from those draws but can from the red.
Five of his seven race wins are from box one or two, even if the favourite in box two leads he gets a lovely run on the fence behind him at a juicy price.
Race 5. 4.49PM Hard Style Rico @ Stud Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres
#3 Russian Sub – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Used to be a liability from outside draws but seems to have conquered that with a 29.33 win here a couple of starts ago and he’ll only get better from box three.
Won’t burn them off earl but should see himself in the right spot at the right time to drop the hammer down the back.
Race 6. 5.09PM Bold Trease November 26 Mixed 4/5 – 595 metres
#1 Bounce Back – $2.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A lot lines up for him here, shooting for three in a row at the class and distance and doesn’t have to worry about getting to the front from middle boxes this time.
Candy Carrera ad Gypsy Urana are talented runners in two and three but will give him too much rope early to reel him in.
Race 7. 5.29PM TAB Melbourne Cup Prelude 1 – 515 metres
#7 Tyler Durden – $7.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A star over multiple distances he looks to represent the value of the race here, should go forward without leading and given his strength can power home.
Was a game second in his Adelaide Cup heat to third place getter Jack’s Well and second up back in Victoria should be ready to fire.
Race 8. 5.44PM TAB Melbourne Cup Prelude 2 – 515 metres
#2 Koblenz – $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Would be surprised if this quote holds up for this genuine Cup hope who was back to his best last week running a scorching 29.16, his fastest mark yet at the track.
Will be in a decent speed battle with Hadouken early but has developed the necessary strength to get the better of him in the finish.
Race 9. 6.04PM TAB Melbourne Cup Prelude 3 – 515 metres
#7 Keep it Blue – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Wasn’t much between this dog and Koblenz last start finishing just a couple of lengths behind the polished product, form before that is strong as well a winner at The Meadows.
There’s a lot of early pace in this race and that’s not his go but if things fall his way he’ll get last crack at them.
Race 10. 6.20PM Shootout November 11 Grade 5 – 515 metres
#5 Rippin’ Memphis – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been around the block in her career but since landing back in Victoria has been nothing but solid always in and around the placings in some smart races.
You can see her fitness building with each run and when a bitch can find the front like she can she’s a big danger at odds here at Sandown.
Race 11. 6.39PM Accell Therapy Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Ben Mayo – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Best bet on the card and priced accordingly, was a massive run at The Meadows Saturday heavily hampered early he continued to surge missing out in a three way go.
Back to Sandown and the 515 where he’s done his best work expect him to find the rail from the checks and run some time.
Race 12. 6.57PM XP3020 Grade 5 – 515 metres
#6 Molly Blazer – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is a hard bitch to follow but there’s no doubting at her best she’s well up to this having already won six of her fourteen starts but only placed once.
Has experience over the short course winning from wide boxes and if she comes to the track in the right mindset could be too talented.
