Sandown Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 3.14PM Greatness is Coming Mixed 6/7 – 595 metres
#3 What Could Be – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
One of the only chasers in this race with a win at the track and more importantly the middle-distance trip to her name when she led all the way two starts ago.
Had been super consistent around the one turns before stepping up and looks to have found her distance range going forward while a few of these are still learning.
Race 2. 3.39PM Book Your XMAS Party Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres
#3 Wow She’s Fast – $1.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
No prizes for putting this freakish talent on top, has given the track record a scare and run 29.4 in the wet in her two wins here, unheard of form to start a career.
Has boxed well and exploded shortly after the start on both occasions and could make some handy young dogs look average here.
Race 3. 3.54PM Geelong to Sandown Final Grade 5 – 515 metres
#1 Denise’s Vision – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This bitch has broken plenty of barriers this preparation but still hasn’t knocked off a win from box one, a very odd stat after notching up ten of them.
She flew the lids at Geelong and has been stepping well here winning from the two box, that form should translate and she’ll be hard to roll here.
Race 4. 4.17PM Toongabbie Lodge Mixed 4/5 – 715 metres
#4 Sandra’s Sticker – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Just a dozen starts into his career and already making waves over the seven hundred, has run on well from back in the field to place and will only improve here.
Kenny the Brute and Venus Light are smart types but this race continues to throw up surprise results and if Sandra jumps it could be another at value.
Race 5. 4.42PM Hard Style Rico at Stud Mixed 4/5 – 595 metres
#1 Madalia Champ – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Can give plenty of cheek from a gun draw here, loves the red with four wins out of the inside box and with proven early speed over the sprint looks the likely leader.
There are some strong types drawn in the middle of the line, but if interfered with he could be off and gone with the prize.
Race 6. 5.02PM TAB Melbourne Cup November 26 Grade 4 – 515 metres
#2 Koblenz – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
If this Group One talent wants to be in the reckoning for the Melbourne Cup he should be winning a race like this, his only defeats of late coming behind the brilliance of Mr. Fix It and Aston Rupee.
Boxes superbly and should land straight on the lure here, middle and run home sections are only getting stronger.
Race 7. 5.24PM The Cup – 50 Days To Go Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres
#7 Got the Torque – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks one of the better each-way bets on the card, drops the hammer soon after box rise and has made a habit from winning races from out wide.
Recent form is good without winning, does get a class drop here down from Free for All company, serious danger if he finds the bunny.
Race 8. 5.44PM 50 Day Countdown Special event – 515 metres
#2 Lakeview Walter – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This Group One star looks to be building nicely towards a cup tilt, hasn’t been out of the money in his last five against the best of the best.
Big strong dog who doesn’t take a backward step if there’s contact early and his record from low draws speaks for itself.
Race 9. 6.04PM Shootout November 11 grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 He Shall Rodger – $7.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Big fan of this dog over any distance at Sandown Park, but coming off a one turn win straight into a five hundred from a gun draw he won’t let you down through effort.
One of the stronger five hundred metre commodities, if he keeps in touch with them around the first turn will finish with gusto.
Race 10. 6.19PM Accell Therapy Grade 5 – 515 metres
#5 Ben Mayo – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Couldn’t have been more impressive stepping up in class at The Meadows first out and first home in 29.79 at just start number five.
He did it from an inside box on that occasion but his three wins have come from all over the track, can ping, lead and win.
Race 11. 6.37PM XP3020 Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Tiger Time – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Had been battling for form at the provincials until turning it around a couple of starts ago storming from well back to win over the 460 metres.
Rise back to the 515 looks perfectly timed, won’t be the best away but if he can secure a rails run will be coming into this at the right time.
Race 12. 6.55PM Giddy-Up Grade 5 – 515 metres
#5 Earthworm Jim – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another youngster who stepped up to the plate at The Meadows last start going just outside the thirty second barrier.
If he gets a few yards has unmatched muster in this field and won’t be caught if he finds himself on the arm.
