Sandown Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 2.39PM Book Your Xmas Party Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres
#8 Rasputin – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Yet to tackle the five hundred here at Sandown but has all the tools to handle it, has showed excellent early speed at all four starts and maps to get a clear run to the front here.
Will be tested over the further distance but is in winning form, would far rather take the price than the slow beginning fast finishing favourite.
Race 2. 2.54PM [email protected] Mixed 6/7 – 595 metres
#1 Starlight Dusty – $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was heavily supported when tackling the middle-distance at just his fourth start last time out and didn’t disappoint giving them a hiding while running a hot 34.44.
Went straight to the front there and should lead again from the red in a small field, watch the clock he looks to have a big future ahead of him.
Race 3. 3.14PM Toongabbie Lodge 2-3 Win Restricted – 515 metres
#4 Fabriola Ximenez – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Consistency has escaped this youngster but you can forgive him after just thirteen starts, the flashes he’s shown including a 29.78 placing here two starts ago puts hi right in the frame to run a big race.
The inside two boxes are drawn to bother each other early and with a vacant each side the chaser should get to see plenty of track and show what he can do.
Race 4. 3.37PM Houdini Boy at Newhaven Stud Mixed ¾ – 595 metres
#8 Bobby the Brute – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Got back to his brilliant best last start, times and margins once he lead here at track and trip running a personal best 34.12.
Wouldn’t normally fancy him from a wide alley but Collinda Beast in the seven should bring him into the race nicely and with his experience over the middle-distance I’d expect him to get the better of the two in the run.
Race 5. 4.01PM Download the Watchdog App Grade 5 – 515 metres
#1 More Deductions – $6.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
There’ll be no deductions if you take the price on offer now, looks an each way special here, Denise’s Vision in the two will give him all the room in the world to punch up at the first corner and lead.
His form’s been patchy but in tougher races, he loves it here at Sandown with a 29.79 best well and truly enough to win this race.
Race 6. 4.24PM Blackbook on Watchdog App Mixed ¾ – 515 metres
#1 Usman Bale – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks primed to bounce back to the winners circle after a rare out up the straight at Healsville, before that was a consecutive metropolitan winner from box one.
He’s going as well as he ever has one of those wins coming in 29.47 here at Sandown Park, is a dog who knows how to use the rail to his advantage.
Race 7. 4.44PM RSN Central 10:30AM Weekdays Grade 5 – 515 metres
#8 Aston Cade – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gambling on this old champion still having something left in the tank, has been struggling to win of eight but has a glowing resume and back in fifth grade has to be respected.
Of his nineteen wins four of them have come from box eight, the most of any draw, if he brings his best on the night he wins.
Race 8. 5.12PM TAB Melbourne Cup November 26 Free for All – 515 metres
#3 Aston Rupee – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
No hesitation in taking the shorts about this freakish talent, was in all sorts trying to chase down Koblenz last start and produced a huge run to nail the star on the wire.
Even if he gets in trouble early is now finding ways to win, his mid-race turn of foot and run home is unmatched even in this company.
Race 9. 5.31PM Accell Therapy Grade 5 – 595 metres
#7 Venus Light – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Doesn’t win out of turn, but she’s a class bitch at her best having won from box eight here in 34.21 in the past.
She’ll be suited by the small field and historically has excelled from wide boxes, form over the seven hundred should see her charge at the leaders late and find the line.
Race 10. 5.49PM XP3020 Grade 5 – 515 metres
#3 Boombox Hammer – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Speed is his caper which he showed in spades winning in 29.71 here from box four five starts ago, has since gone to Healsville up the straight with mixed success, but is drawn to excel.
Big chance to spear across the to other market fancies in box one and two early and make his own luck on the bunny.
Race 11. 6.07PM Giddy-Up Grade 5 – 515 metres
#6 Shima Punga – $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
If ever a dog was due to win a race it’s Shima Punga, his last few starts have been full of merit when placing he only needs a slice of luck at box rise to gap these.
Well rounded dog, who can get out early, put the foot down in the middle and punch out late, should be winning.
Race 12. 6.27PM sandowngreyhounds.com.au Grade 5 – 515 metres
#2 Forcefully – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looked a good thing from box one here last week but put in a rare bad performance in the red where he’s previously won from on four occasions.
He doesn’t get the one here but the two is the next best thing, don’t expect him to miss it two times in a row, can make amends.
