Sandown Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 2.37PM Book Your Xmas Party Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres

#2 Enemy Within – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Happy to take this prospect for a number of reasons firstly his record here with consecutive wins, improving time wise on both occasions.

Secondly he has no speed drawn directly outside or inside him and will be making his own luck out the bunny where other fancied runner will have to overcome some sticky draws.

Race 2. 2.57PM Download the Watchdog App Mixed 6/7 – 515 metres

#5 Slick Sister – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Had her colours lowers by Western Blazer who she meets again here but lost no admirers coming from well back in a cracking race to miss by a head.

Hamillson has plenty of speed in box four if she can track that early expect her to run over the top of these in some very handy time.

Race 3. 3.24PM Toongabbie Lodge Grade 5 – 515 metres

#5 Spring Driven – $12 – Bet @ Sportsbet

There’s no doubt you’d prefer her drawn inside or outside and the squeeze box will be a challenge, but you can’t ignore her last run when she’s gone up at the price.

Continued to surge at Denise’s Vision eventually falling short by half a length, but ran 29.5 in doing so, way over the odds in a similar event.

Race 4. 3.44PM Houdini Boy at Newhaven Stud Mixed ¾ – 715 metres

#5 Bobby the Brute – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Cracking matchup against recent Group Three winner Gypsy Wyong here who he can get the better of in this race.

The bitch is a serious young talent but had all the favours last start, Bobby should put her under plenty of pressure at the start halting her momentum which is the cornerstone of her success.

Race 5. 4.07PM The Pen Tuesday’s 7PM Sky 2 Mixed 4/5 – 515 metres

#1 Junk Food Junkie – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been a top level bitch for a very long time and doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon, a slick Meadows winner two starts ago followed by a 29.5 placing here.

Is always on or just behind the pace, doesn’t leave much to chance, is very well graded in this fourth fifth, has beaten tougher fields.

Race 6. 4.34PM RSN Central 10:30AM Weekdays Mixed 4/5 – 595 metres

#2 Fernando Frank – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Is a dog who doesn’t win out of turn but when he goes up each-way odds in a race like this he’s impossible to ignore after a run of recent seconds in tougher grade.

Should spear out and challenge for the front from box two, has plenty of experience here running time in the past which he’ll do again if he finds the bunny.

Race 7. 4.54PM Thank You Mick Floyd Grade 5 Final – 595 metres

#3 Aston Ulysses – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Is a short quote for a reason, hands down the most accomplished dog in this field and is going great guns of late.

Stepped back up to this distance after dominating over the five hundred metres and was unlucky to finish second from a wide box, second up box three looks prime for a win.

Race 8. 5.10PM TAB Melbourne Cup November 26 Free for All – 515 metres

#4 Earn the Answers – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Got pulverised by Lala Kiwi who crashed left out of box seven in The Meadows free for all on Saturday night and still ran home for a close up third.

Is leaving the lids with supreme confidence and with any amount of luck won’t fid a dog to wipe him out in the first couple of strides.

Race 9. 5.34PM Accell Therapy Grade 5 – 715 metres

#1 Floral Lace – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Good to see this bitch find a winnable race, is consistently paired against Victoria’s best stayers and holds her own without winning.

She’s very one paced but can run all day, she’ll let the faster younger dogs set the tempo here and continue to pick up runners on her way to the line, superior stayer of this field.

Race 10. 5.54PM XP3020 Grade 5 – 515 metres

#8 Paddy Wants Pats – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Happy to give him another chance after he was chopped out early last week, he’s a fast dog with a severe lack of box speed and the eight might just suit him.

Left alone out there if he holds his width on the first turn he can slowly pick up these runners throughout the race, is armed with a big finish.

Race 11. 6.12PM Giddy-Up Grade 5 – 515 metres

#1 Boombox Hammer – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Stepped back up to the five hundred for the first time in a few starts last week and needed the run, second up drawn the pole looks ready to win.

Only has thirteen starts under the belt but has managed 29.71 here and has the talent and race smarts to hold the fence here.

Race 12. 6.35PM sandowngreyhounds.com.au Grade 5 – 515 metres

#1 Soda Fizz – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Drops back from the middle-distance where he’s shown plenty as a young dog, maps to get a perfect run behind the leaders here and has the engine to round them up on the way home.

Just needs to mind his own business to the first turn and stick to the rai, the runs will come.
