There is always great value at Saturday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
Wentworth Park Racing Tips
Looking for back-to-back wins is Reborn Hostility, who missed the jump last time out but got up over the top of them.
The two-year-old daughter of Fernando Bale owns four wins and five placings from 20 starts, and punters get value odds in an even field.
If she gets clear running down the back straight, she could reel them in.
Stake: 1 Unit
Punters get value odds for Magical Ang, and although drawing the middle trap isn’t ideal, she is a tough type.
The two-year-old daughter of Magical Bale owns nine wins and eight placings from 23 starts, including seven starts at the track and distance.
If she gets away cleanly, she should prove tough to hold out.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Eidetic Memory has yet to fire in four attempts at the track and distance, but she could get around the field early and hold them off.
Her recent form at Nowra has been excellent, and she won by 5+ lengths last time out after picking the jump beautifully.
There is some risk involved, but the odds make it worth it.
Stake: 1 Unit
Taw Major is having an excellent season with four wins from his last five starts, and getting the inside draw is enough to take him close.
The two-year-old owns 15 wins from 38 starts, including 12 wins at the track and distance, which is an incredible record.
Take the $2.25 odds before money comes for him late.
Stake: 2.5 Units
The Meadows Racing Tips
Boasting two wins from three starts is Mepunga Rule, who scored an impressive win last time out.
Trained by Jeffrey Britton, the two-year-old son of Barcia Bale has shown good trap speed, which is all he needs to win at this level.
We expect shortening odds on race night, so take the opening price.
Stake: 2 Units
Bacardi Girl turned her form around when scoring last time out, and she could keep that form going.
The daughter of Fernando Bale won by 1.75 lengths, and although she has yet to race at the track and distance, getting the inside draw helps.
Look for each-way odds on race night.
Stake: 1 Unit
Hurricane is showing impressive form this season after rattling off four consecutive victories.
The two-year-old son of Bernardo blitzed the opposition at Sandown Park last start when scoring by 8.25 lengths.
It was a domination, and a repeat could be on the cards.
Stake: 3.5 Units
Gunning for back-to-back wins is Trendy Art, who showed good mid-race muster when getting up late at Sandown Park.
The three-year-old son of Tommy Shelby has plenty of experience, and although he will get back, he storms home better than most.
It’ll be an exciting watch, and he’s worth backing.
Stake: 1.5 Units
