We have expert betting tips for the greyhound cards this Saturday at Q 2 Parklands and Wentworth Park, which includes quality Group 1 racing in Brisbane.
There is always great value at Saturday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
Q 2 Parklands Racing Tips
She’s Mayhem runs at short odds, but the one-year-old daughter of Fernando Bale looks to have a bright future.
She owns three wins and two placings from seven starts, including a win at the track and distance last time out by 2.75 lengths.
We’re happy to include her in our greyhound multi bets at the odds.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Looking to post consecutive wins is Whiskey Service, who got back to winning form at Q 2 Parklands last time out.
The three-year-old has three wins from four starts at the track and distance, including a 7.5-length win last start, so he grows another leg here.
The middle trap isn’t ideal, but he should give punters a sight.
Stake: 1 Unit
We’re sticking with Eriza Sparkles despite having no recent wins to her name.
The two-year-old daughter of Tommy Shelby is a quality type on her day, including 14 wins and nine placings from 35 starts.
Jumping from trap two is ideal, so she could land on the pace and kick well.
Stake: 1 Unit
Ross the Boss was a touch unlucky not to make the Brisbane Cup Final, but he could settle for this race.
The two-year-old is a 15-time winner, and if he jumps on terms with them, he could put this field away in the first 100m.
His odds have drifted after opening at $2.35, but we’re not concerned.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Wentworth Park Racing Tips
Fascinate Samuel hasn’t been far away from the prize this preparation, including a win at The Gardens two starts back.
The two-year-old son of Feral Franky owns eight wins from 31 starts, including three wins at the track and distance.
It’s an even field, but he has plenty of upside.
Stake: 1 Unit
Princess Ada owns three wins from her last five starts, and she is good enough to figure in the finish.
The two-year-old daughter of Tommy Shelby has yet to fire at the track and distance, but this field is there for the taking.
Punters could get each-way odds on race night.
Stake: 1 Unit
Shooting for three consecutive wins is My Cupcake, who scored by 3.75 lengths last time out.
The two-year-old daughter of Shima Shine owns 17 wins overall, and although her best form hasn’t come at Wenty, she could fire up here.
Her confidence levels are higher now, so include in picks.
Stake: 1 Unit
Unleash in Miami has been running against stronger fields than what he faces here, so we’re including him in our greyhound picks.
The four-year-old is a 30-time winner from 59 starts, so the win rate is good, and six of those wins have come at the track and distance.
Look for shortening odds on race day.
Stake: 1.5 Units
