We have expert betting tips for the greyhound cards this Saturday at The Meadows and Wentworth Park.
There is always great value at Saturday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
The Meadows Racing Tips
Looking for three consecutive wins is Amron Toy, who scored at The Meadows two back before winning at Ballarat last time out.
The two-year-old son of Feral Franky has yet to finish worse than third at the track and distance, so he’s good enough to beat the odds-on favourite.
We’re happy to include him in picks at each-way odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Getting a wide draw is enough for Flying Ducati to win, and his records stands out in this field.
The two-year-old son of Fernando Bale owns 10 wins and eight placings from 22 starts, including two wins at the track and distance.
His best time is enough to take him close, so snap up the each-way odds.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Canya Talk Now is a quality type in the making after posting six wins and a placing from seven starts, and he can handle this level of racing.
He hasn’t faced overly tough fields, mostly in Queensland, but he has run quick enough times to be competitive in this heat.
His odds have drifted, so the $2.50 is a fair price.
Stake: 1 Unit
Boasting six wins and three placings from nine starts is Wrongly Accused, who enters with five consecutive wins.
The one-year-old son of Bernardo has a very bright future, and although he faces a tough field, we thought he would be paying shorter odds.
Drawing wide is ideal, and he could burn around them to post a big win.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Wentworth Park Racing Tips
Hard Sniff Style is only a three-time winner, but two of them came earlier this preparation.
The three-year-old son of Hard Style Rico owns three wins and 20 placings, so he’s good enough to handle this field.
Include him in picks at each-way odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Seeking three consecutive wins is Box Fly Bandit, who couldn’t have been more impressive when winning at Dubbo last time out.
The one-year-old daughter of One Tim Only will need some early luck from the draw, but she has explosive trap speed.
Look for shortening odds on race night.
Stake: 2.5 Units
There is no shame for including No Shame in greyhound picks tonight, and she should give each-way punters a sight.
The two-year-old daughter of Feral Franky comes off a tidy second placing at Wentworth Park, and a repeat of that could be enough to win.
Look for odds around $5 from bookmakers.
Stake: 1 Unit
My Cupcake looked good when winning back-to-back races earlier this prep before finishing third at Wenty last time out.
The two-year-old daughter of Shima Shine is a 17-time winner, so she has enough class on her side to beat this field.
Getting the inside draw is enough to take her close.
Stake: 1.5 Units
