We have expert betting tips for the greyhound cards this Saturday at The Meadows and Wentworth Park.
There is always great value at Saturday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
The Meadows Racing Tips
It’s not an easy field, but Paw Monet has a good chance of going back-to-back after scoring at The Meadows last start.
The two-year-old daughter of Aussie Infrared is an 11-time winner overall, and if she jumps well, she can put this field away.
Look for a betting push on race day.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Looking to get back to winning form is Ascend Ecstatic, who owns 19 wins and 27 placings throughout her career.
The three-year-old is a five-time winner at the track and distance, and she could add to her record against this level of opposition.
If she clears the inside dog, she could kick away for a comfortable win.
Stake: 2 Units
Jeffrey Britton lines up Mepunga Rule, who owns five wins from nine starts, and he is a nice type in the making.
The two-year-old son of Barcia Bale ran fifth at his only attempt at the track and distance, but he could turn that around here.
Look for shortening odds, as he should be well-backed to score.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Missing the jump cost Sharapova Star last time out, but she could bounce back at her favourite trip.
She is an eight-time winner at the track and distance, and drawing wide could see her find the front early and kick away.
Her class should be enough to be competitive in this race.
Stake: 2 Units
Wentworth Park Racing Tips
Looking to win the opener is Loco Storm, who didn’t fire last start at Wentworth Park, but he was running well prior.
The two-year-old son of Feral Franky owns eight wins and seven placings from 20 starts, so the form stacks up nicely for this race.
His best time is enough to put this field away, so include him in picks.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Shooting for three consecutive wins is Fear to Excel, who has nine wins on his record.
The two-year-old daughter of Tommy Shelby meets a tough field, but she has enough speed off the inside draw to win.
Punters could get each-way odds on race night.
Stake: 1 Unit
It was good seeing Ethanol Secret get back to his best form with a win at Wenty last start, and the change in scenery has helped his form.
Since coming to Wentworth Park, he has a win and a placing from two starts, and he could add another win on Saturday.
Look for him to roll forward and be tough to run down.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Gypsy Ibrox is unbeaten after three starts, including a win at Wenty last time out by 3.75 lengths.
It was a good victory for the one-year-old, who looks to have a bright future after running 29.99 in just her third start.
She should be too good for this field again.
Stake: 3 Units
