We have expert betting tips for the greyhound cards this Saturday at Wentworth Park and The Meadows.
There is always great value at Saturday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
Wentworth Park Racing Tips
Angelo will need some luck from a middle trap, but the four-year-old has enough experience to overcome it.
The son of Hard Style Rico owns 21 wins and 34 placings from 81 starts, so he’s consistent, and good enough to put this field away.
Look for each-way odds on race night.
Stake: 1 Unit
Boasting three wins from four starts is Pound Keeping, who has been putting her opponents away with ease.
The one-year-old daughter of Aston Rupee could be a runner worth following throughout her career, and her trap speed is superior.
She is worth including in greyhound multi bets on Saturday.
Stake: 4 Units
Zipping Kayli can be a touch slow to start, but with Reborn Hostility on her inside, that works out perfectly for her.
Reborn Hostility might have won last week, but she is a slow beginner, which should allow Zipping Kayli to cross to the rail.
She has been heavily backed to win, which is a good sign.
Stake: 2 Units
Taw Major was there to strike late start but before an early check, but he could rebound off the inside draw.
The two-year-old son of Wow owns 15 wins from 39 starts, including 12 wins at the track and distance, which is an excellent record.
Punters get $3.40 to enjoy, which is a fair price from bookmakers.
Stake: 2 Units
The Meadows Racing Tips
Looking to remain unbeaten is Zipping Richie, who won at Ballarat and Shepparton in fine style.
His most recent win came by 5.75 lengths, and he hit the ground running and didn’t give his rivals any chance to win.
We expect shortening odds on race night, so he’s a good multi bet addition.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Gunning for three consecutive wins is Detectable, who scored at Geelong two back before winning at The Meadows last time out.
The one-year-old son of Bernardo went straight to the front last start before gripping on to win, which was a tough effort.
Drawing wide is ideal, so look for him to cross and lead throughout.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Ethanol Secret was no match for Hurricane last week, but with Hurricane winning again on Thursday night, the form stacks up beautifully.
The experienced runner is much better than an eight-time winner, and we’re surprised that he wasn’t won more throughout his career.
He gets a good chance to post an overdue victory.
Stake: 1 Unit
Gas and Dust is loving life with three consecutive wins, including victories at Sale and Warragul.
The two-year-old son of Fernando Bale has yet to race at The Meadows, but it shouldn’t make too much of a difference.
If he gets room down the back straight, he could blow them away late.
Stake: 2 Units
