We have expert betting tips for the greyhound cards this Saturday at The Meadows and Wentworth Park.
There is always great value at Saturday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
The Meadows Racing Tips
Boasting two wins from three starts is Mepunga Phantom, who scored by three lengths at short odds last time out.
The one-year-old son of Mepunga Blazer could have a bright future, and although this is a harder race with more depth, he can handle it.
Look for a solid betting move on race night.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Croydon’s winning run came to an end last time out at The Meadows, but we have him bouncing back with a big victory.
The two-year-old had no luck in running, and based on his previous five consecutive wins, he’s the testing material in this race.
He should clear the inside dog and kick away for a big win.
Stake: 4 Units
Boasting consistent form is Vista Weird, who scored at Sandown Park last start, and his record at The Meadows is good.
The two-year-old son of Hooked on Scotch owns a win and six placings from eight starts at the track and distance, and he could add another win.
It’s a tricky field, but he shouldn’t be overlooked.
Stake: 2 Units
Lighting Speed couldn’t quite make it four wins on the bounce last start, but she could get back to winning form on Saturday.
The two-year-old daughter of Bernardo is an eight-time winner overall, and some of her best wins have come at The Meadows.
This isn’t an easy race, but she should give a good account.
Stake: 1 Unit
Wentworth Park Racing Tips
There isn’t too much depth to this field, and Foxy Barbella could take advantage with an overdue win.
The two-year-old daughter of Feral Franky owns four wins and five placings from 21 starts, so her overall record is good enough.
Punters could get each-way odds, so include her in picks.
Stake: 1 Unit
Prince Tommy has a good winning strike rate with nine wins from 20 starts, and he could add another win to his record.
The two-year-old son of Tommy Shelby ran only fifth at his track debut last start, but he didn’t get all favours from the jump.
Punters should expect a much better effort this time around.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Looking to cap off consecutive second placings with a win is Flash Ethics, who owns a 29.47, which is more than competitive enough.
The two-year-old son of Feral Franky has been right around the mark this preparation, and this race is there for the taking.
Look for each-way odds on race night.
Stake: 1 Unit
Prim and Pretty almost got the job done as an outsider last start, and that’s a good form guide for this race.
The three-year-old daughter of My Bro Fabio owns five wins and 21 placings from 60 starts, and some of her best form has come recently.
She should be right around the mark in a tricky race.
Stake: 1 Unit
