The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.39PM Every Race on the Watchdog App Grade 7 – 525 metres
#4 Xamira Girl – Bet Now
Ran on well to win at Ballarat to break her Maiden last start, was doing her best work late and will appreciate the two turns and extra ground at The Meadows.
Has seen box four all three of her race starts and a vacant outside gives her a chance to get her teeth into this race early in a modest field.
Race 2. 6.59PM Sequential Property Services Grade 6 – 525 metres
#5 Tiberia Bale – Bet Now
Gun Barcia Bale pup that’s putting things together quickly on the track, finished behind a good one in Kenny the Brute first up at The Meadows and has won his next two starts in smart time at Ballarat.
Beat Aragog on the latest occasion who’s run well here in tougher grade, if he can off set box five should be winning.
Race 3. 7.18PM Sky Racing Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Wendalin Bale – Bet Now
Has the runs on the board here at The Meadows a 30.03 winner last month from an inside draw and has held strong form since then.
Fell last start out of box six, closer to the rail with a little less pressure should be much easier she just needs to navigate the start.
Race 4. 7.39PM Topcat Video Free For All – 600 metres
#1 Steinbrenner – Bet Now
First up of a month freshen up in top grade company, Jeff Britton always has them prepared and expect him to be on his game.
Is a 34.27 winner here before and gets his box with the red where he grows another leg, maps to sit behind Rajasthan and take over mid race.
Race 5. 8.00PM The Meadows Dogs on Facebook Grade 5 Final – 525 metres
#5 Keeper Of Keys – Bet Now
Better known as a distance dog has been racing well at the track and shorter trip recently and in a field devoid of early speed has the chance to land close to them and run over the top.
Closed late in 30.17 last run and should only improve with another run out of the 525 metre boxes in his right grade.
Race 6. 8.18PM @THEMEADOWSDOGS On Twitter Grade 5 – 600 metres
#5 Sir Truculent – Bet Now
South Australian chaser acquitted himself extremely well in the Fireball final over the staying trip, loomed to win but wasn’t quite able to run on.
Has won at Group level over the 600 metres in South Australia in as long as he doesn’t get too far back here stacks up well against the Fifth graders.
Race 7. 8.37PM TAB Long May We Play 3-6 Wins Final – 600 metres
#3 Run Like Jess – Bet Now
In career best form over the middle-distance, a 34.56 winner at The Meadows last start from box three and another win over the 595 metres at Sandown from box three the start before where she’s dictated from the outset.
Before that was behind Christo Bale one of the best in Victoria, looks well placed here.
Race 8. 9.00PM PCR Pet Transport Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres
#1 Who Told Stevie – Bet Now
Was just about to take control and race away last week when checked off heels and out the back, good sign to see him straight back in next week.
Has run the hands off the clock here and comes up with box one where he can lead or take a trail and run on, ideally placed.
Race 9. 9.22PM VIC Business Challenge Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Rothwell Gal – Bet Now
Belongs in open company has been in good form without cracking a win but this race presents her chance to get back in the winner’s circle.
Has won five times from the six and has speed with Estrella Star inside her who should clear a path into the race, very strong late has run 29.77 here in the past.
Race 10. 9.45PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Madam Rosmerta – Bet Now
Impressive run around the one turn at Geelong last start second in good time, comes back to The Meadows where she’s had success in the past.
Relies on solid sectionals throughout to win, good field sense early will take her a long way from box six.
Race 11. 10.03PM Feukuai Greyhounds Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Accused – Bet Now
Three wins and two seconds in his last five starts is making improvements each time out and gets a great chance to keep his good record going with a low draw at The Meadows.
Has the speed to clear them early and hold the fence, other chances have to rely on luck from outside boxes, clear pick.
Race 12. 10.24PM Home of Ten Group 1’s – 525 metres
#2 Halwes – Bet Now
Is graded and boxed perfectly here, needs the inside over the sprint trip and with a little bit of luck early will really got motoring in the run.
Has gone 30.04 here in the past and will be hitting the line at a rate of knots.
