The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.32PM TAB.COM.AU Mixed 6/7 – 525 metres
#4 Thursday Knight – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was brilliant on debut back in October running 30.19 here winning back in October, has been off the scene since the Bartolo kennel have made sure to take their time.
If he comes back the same dog he was when he left this looks a great starting point for him, middle-draw not a worry with the early dash.
Race 2. 6.52PM Vale Kevin Grant Grade 6 – 525 metres
#5 Black Gemstone – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has flourished in her young career since coming to The Meadows a pair of runner-up performances complemented by a 29.95 win leading all the way from a middle draw.
The four is her main competition here, if she’s on her best behaviour should follow or sit on him early and be a big chance late.
Race 3. 7.09PM Sky Racing 3-6 Win Final – 525 metres
#4 Barooga Smoke – $9 –Bet @ Sportsbet
Went back to the one turn at Shepparton last start running on late to score and has been brought right back to the Meadows where his most recent run was a 30.03 second placing.
Can really ping the lids on his night, this is tougher grade and he’ll have to be switched on but looks on the verge of a win.
Race 4. 7.32PM Horsham to The Meadows Grade 5 Final – 525 metres
#3 Fernando Booker – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been incredibly consistent, has thirty-six starts at just over two years old and has some race experience on these.
Hasn’t been worse than fourth his last five starts and from a familiar box has every chance to go forward and run a positive race.
Race 5. 7.47PM Home of Ten Group 1’s Grade 5 Final – 600 metres
#3 Bobby the Brute – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This dog is going from strength to strength, got into an awkward position in last weeks heats from box six but charged past runners to get up and score.
Should drop in behind the leaders on the rail here and take the shortest way home, does his best work late.
Race 6. 8.11PM Vale Frank Clohesy Mix 4/5 – 525 metres
#3 How Not Too – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Queenslander still finding his way in Victoria, was brilliant on Meadows debut a 29.94 winner running on in the closing stages, hasn’t jumped as well last two runs, but gets her chance here.
Is a mad railer and drawn only one off she should be able to stay out of trouble early and will run on powerfully, great each-way price.
Race 7. 8.28PM Greyhound Clubs Victoria Grade 5 – 600 metres
#7 Mepunga Missile – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looked gone last start getting well back from box six but continued to take the gaps and run on ending in a 34.74 win at Sandown, didn’t break he clock but track sense was impressive.
Can jump better from box seven this week, if he’s in the first few and out of trouble around the first turn will be finishing strong.
Race 8. 8.47PM Feikuai Greyhounds Free for All – 525 metres
#8 Lakeview Walter – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Won the Group One Silver Chief last start in dominant fashion after just seven career starts, is riding a run of four straight wins and unbeaten from box eight is looking for five.
Run Baba Run in he seven will crash straight for the fence giving the class of the field time to work across and power away.
Race 9. 9.08PM Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning Grade 5 – 525 metres
#1 Colden Dayto – $2.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
In the form of his career, two wins and two minors in his last five the only blip a sixth when he missed the kick here last start.
Gets every chance to bounce back here, is a two time winner from box one who uses his manners to put himself in a winning position early, if he can hold them looks the winner.
Race 10. 9.28PM KCR Pet Transport Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Bodhi’s Bro Kai – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
You know you’re always going to get bang for your buck with this dog, is always on his toes in the boxes and in the leading brigade.
Looked the winner until the last few strides last week, if he continues o make his own luck in front he’s going to pinch one.
Race 11. 9.48PM hemeadows.org.au grade 5 – 525 metres
#4 Stanley Keeping – $2.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Former New South Wales chaser looks like he’s starting to settle in down in Victoria, third his last two starts he wants further and is only getting going late but in this grade if he’s close enough he’s good enough.
Will likely miss the start and track up behind looking for runs.
Race 12. 10.13PM Download The Watchdog App Grade 5 – 525 metres
#7 Lady Pandora – $9 –Bet @ Sportsbet
The veteran is well drawn out in the seven, runs a really strong five hundred metres and with her wide running style is suited out here if left alone.
Four wins from boxes seven and eight, if she avoids the kennel mate outside her she’ll run on well.
