The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.08PM TOPCAT Video Maiden Final – 525 metres
#3 Western Country – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Not a huge amount of form to go off with any of these runners, but third dog has been to the Meadows on multiple occasions and should benefit from a last start fourth.
I think he comes up the right price here given his 29.85 Sandown form which should equate to around 30.3 here, has done his best racing from low draws.
Race 2. 7.27PM TAB Venue Mode Mixed 6/7 – 525 metres
#5 Radek Bale – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks the real deal coming off a couple of eye catching wins rattling home late on the one turn tracks looks like he’s crying out for further.
Maps to get a clear run early even from the five, if he’s given the chance to build up the revs looks very well placed here.
Race 3. 7.49PM Download The New Watchdog App 2-4 Wins – 525 metres
#3 Aragog – $12 – Bet @ Sportsbet
There’s no going around the fact his last few runs have been below par at Sandown, but he’ a lot better than that and in restricted company is a must have at the price.
Will drive hard for the rail early and does his best racing here at The Meadows, happy to take him on.
Race 4. 8.08PM Home of Ten Group 1’s Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres
#7 Fernando Cazz – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has struck a purple patch since stepping up to the six hundred, was already racing well over the sprint and has rattled off three consecutive wins running time over the middle-distance.
Would prefer an inside box but in the small field she should be able to get across no worries and serve up another front running win.
Race 5. 8.27PM Sky Racing Heat 1 Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Rockstar Stanley – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
An underrated chaser, has done some really nice things here and still comes up at the double digit quote.
A two-time winner from the box, a 30.12 winner at the track and the ability to fly out to the middle of the track have him right in this.
Race 6. 8.49PM Greyhound Clubs Victoria Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres
#4 Fabriola Zad – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks to get a fairly clean run here from the middle of the line, has speed recently inside but Utah Blues could be inconvenienced from the dog in box two.
Has a big motor and showed that running on from the clouds last week, looks ready to win.
Race 7. 9.08PM TAB.COM.AU Heat 2 Grade 5 – 525 metres
#3 Aston Corrina – $2.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This bitch just hasn’t been running a bad race whether at the one turn, over six hundred or at the traditional sprint, showing great race sense not being a great beginner.
Came from last to miss by a length last start, if she can lob somewhere close to them should be too strong.
Race 8. 9.27PM The Meadows Conference and Events Centre Mixed ¾
#2 Yozo Bale – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The Ballarat Cup champion has been slightly off the boil in tough company since his Group One win, but gets a chance to bounce back here from a suitable draw.
Lucy’s Milo hasn’t been as spritely lately and he should beat her to he fence, with a clear lead even strong back markers like Wallbanger will struggle to run him down.
Race 9. 9.50PM Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning Grade 5 – 600 metres
#6 Ultimate Bling – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A real professional chaser, probably can’t go as quick as a couple of these at there best but has the race sense and runs on the board to go well here.
Drops in grade when second behind Fernando Cazza last start and should enjoy the vacant draw inside him when finding a spot early.
Race 10. 10.09PM Feikuai Greyhounds Grade 5 Heat 3 – 525 metres
#1 Colden Dayto – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Draws the red for the second week running, didn’t quite put it all together last week when he dwelt before driving through but found one better in Abelero Bale.
Should be ready to go this week and if he can hold them out again there aren’t many run on types here.
Race 11. 10.32PM KCR Pet Transport Grade 5 Heat 4 – 525 metres
#1 Zipping Sultan – $1.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Ten-time winner from just eighteen starts has been smashing the clock at Sandown Park and gets his first look at the Meadows from the comforts of box one.
Takes a step to get going but if he doesn’t lead should have the back of the two and looks a little more classy in the run.
Race 12. 10.48PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 Heat 5 – 525 metres
#3 California Gold – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Luckless last start broke a run of four straight wins, most importantly the latest of those came in 30.14 from box eight here.
Goes into the three this week where he’s won multiple races, the speed battle will be on early but his recent success should stand him in good stead.
