The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.37PM Every Race on The Watch Dog App Mixed 6/7 – 525 metres

#7 Party Lights – Bet Now

Promising start to his career has only missed the placings out of six tries and has won twice here over track and trip.

Has been up against Barooga Dodge last three runs here for a win and two minors, this is a fair drop in grade from that company and if he comes out like he can a 30.16 best should be winning this.

Race 2. 6.59PM Sequential Property Services Grade 5 – 525 metres

#4 Mid Life Crisis – Bet Now

Plenty of experience here at The Meadows with a 30.12 best and doesn’t have a problem coming out of middle boxes.

Has found himself in some deep races the last few, but this looks a winnable event should push forward and go close to leading the inside quartet and get back to winning form.

Race 3. 7.18PM KRC Pet Transport Grade 5 – 600 metres

#6 Bounce Back – Bet Now

Put together two Sandown Park wins over the middle distance four and five starts ago both around the 34.50 mark, which equates to around a 34.80 dog at The meadows which is very quick.

You have to take him on trust from those runs, he’s not the most consistent chaser but if the most talented here especially if he’s able to jump and run from out wide like he’s done in the past.

Race 4. 7.37PM Sky racing Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres

#1 Winlock Thor – Bet Now

Lives up to his name as a strong 520 metre chaser often doing his best work in the middle and latter parts of the race.

Box one is huge here he should be able to hug the rail and avoid interference to get a nice trail into the race where he’ll be hitting the line at a rate of knots.

Race 5. 8PM Greys In The USA Grade 4 – 525 metres

#2 Keenando – Bet Now

Powerful type had been racing away from the Meadows in good form up until last start beaten a length by Penta Allen after doing a lot of work from box seven.

Has been racing the best dogs on the provincial circuit and second up at The Meadows box two looks ideal for him to trim some time off last weeks run for a much-deserved win.

Race 6. 8.19PM TOPCAT Video Mixed 4/5 – 725 metres

#7 Bronski Beat – Bet Now

Former Tasmanian distance champ has shown he can mix it with the best in Victoria and with a few omissions here looks like he could notch his first Meadows win after back to back Sandown triumphs beating Zipping Clifford and True Detective who won the Gr8 Eight here last start.

Loves a wide draw should zip across this field with Rajasthan and prove the stronger of the two late.

Race 7. 8.40PM TAB.COM.AU Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres

#1 Zipping Clifford – Bet Now

Ties in with the Bronski Beat form lines, has been racing Victoria’s best stayers and coming up just a little bit short, a drop back to the 600 metres and box one give him a great chance here.

Won’t be first out but should be able to hold a spot on the rail around the first corner, staying wise is the strongest dog in the field as long as nothing gets the fly at the start look for him to wear them down and make it five wins from box one.

Race 8. 9.04PM Feukuai Greyhounds Free For All – 525 metres

#4 Run By Night – Bet Now

The in-form runner of this event has won three of his last five, two wins at The Meadows and a scorching 29.45 effort from box two at Sandown last start.

Should get his chance to challenge for the lead early with not much pace coming down on him from the outside prime position for a Free For All win.

Race 9. 9.25PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 – 525 metres

#3 For The Alliance – Bet Now

Got some confidence back here last week running a close second in competitive time for this grade, appreciates an inside draw, not always the best away but there’s not a huge amount of box speed in this race.

Easiest race he has contested in a while here if he can get back down around his 30.15 best expect him to be forward early and strong late.

Race 10. 9.42PM VIC Business Challenge Grade 5 – 525 metres

#4 Pirate’s Patch – Bet Now

Difficult race to access with form lines from lots of different tracks, Pirate’s Patch catches the eye though a recent winner up the straight at Healsville the dog has also been here to The Meadows before running 30.38 in placing.

If he can show his early speed from the short course and couple, it with experience at the track looks a good bet.

Race 11. 10.02PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 5 – 525 metres

#4 Gentlemen Thief – Bet Now

His talent alone should take him a long way here, can mix his form and box manners but a 30.09 win here five starts ago from box eight shows what he’s capable of.

Doesn’t win out of turn and has only been plain his last four runs, but he should be good each way value here and capable of beating these.

Race 12. 10.21PM KCR Pet Transport Maturity Heats 18/7 Grade 5 – 525 metres

#1 Full Moon Fever – Bet Now

All four of his career wins from his ten starts have come from box two, having never drawn the one you’d think he would appreciate the rail even more.

Promising debut here last week leading all the way in a slick 30.07, should hold them early and be tough to catch.
