The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.38PM TAB Venue Mode Grade 7 – 525 metres
#8 Fabriola Duran – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks well over the odds here came from the second half of the field to finish a closing third at track and trip last start, has previously shown much better box manners and could do well left alone out in the eight.
Has only missed a place once in her first five starts and with natural improvement on last week is right in the mix here.
Race 2. 6.57PM Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning Mixed 6/7 – 525 metres
#2 Gypsy Vista – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another talented young bitch from the Dailly production line, took her a few starts to find her feat but has done some good things lately including an impressive placing from box eight last week.
Her only previous win came from the red and drawn the checks she should get a similar run and has shown she handles the distance.
Race 3. 7.17PM Greyhound Clubs Victoria Grade 5 – 525 metres
#1 Mepunga Reject – $2.90 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Bounced back to his dominant best last time out at Cranbourne streaking away by almost four lengths on Hill Top Jack.
The run should be a much-needed confidence booster for his return to the Meadows where he’s a 30.09 winner and comes up with the red which he’s won five times from.
Race 4. 7.37PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 5 Final – 525 metres
#3 Byron Bale – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Ran a cracking race from box eight last start, was always working hard from the unsuitable draw and did well to challenge Aston Gwen in the finish.
Should be on the heels of Special Talent here early and get a much more economical trip from the three, will be motoring late.
Race 5. 8.00PM KCR Pet Transport Grade 4 – 525 metres
#3 Entranced – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Winning form is good form and this bitch has rattled off three out of her last five and continued to show her versatility at the five hundred and six hundred metre starts.
There’s a couple that should beat her out here but haven’t done a lot of 525 metre racing, from the good draw she gets her chance to wear them down and win again.
Race 6. 8.19PM Sky Racing Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres
#2 Shima Glow – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Won’t blow these away but you won’t find a more honest bitch, puts in every time she steps on the track and from a nice box draw has the potential to go forward here and issue a challenge.
Set a personal best in 34.75 from box eight a couple of starts ago and should have a much easier time leading here.
Race 7. 8.38PM TOPCAT Video Free for All – 525 metres
#2 Qwara Bale – $2.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Normal service was resumed as she returned from Queensland and taught them a lesson in Free for all company last week and looks to get a very similar one.
Yozo Bale looks the clear leader from the red, she should follow him out and be far too strong throughout the race.
Race 8. 8.59PM Gr8 Eight series Special Event – 725 metres
#2 Star Blazer – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
In career best form over the staying trips, was excellent when first out first home at Sandown two starts ago and backed up with third behind Speed Star champion Five Star.
This is definitely harder than the race he won with Hank the Hustler in the field, but from box two she looks to get an easy lead and will give them something to chase.
Race 9. 9.22PM Home of Ten Group 1’s Grade 5 – 525 metres
#5 Zivon Bale – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
In a wide open affair you could do a lot worse than put your faith in the ever consistent Zivon Bale who’s been knocking on the door for an elusive win.
Historically performs well from squeeze boxes and is always one of the first few away, if he gets clear air will appreciate The Meadows.
Race 10. 9.42PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 – 525 metres
#1 Oamaru Bale – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is better than what he’s been showing lately and gets the ideal race to reverse his fortunes here after being plagued by wide boxes over the short course.
Grows another leg off an inside alley and will appreciate the long straight run to the first turn where he can take control.
Race 11. 10.01PM Feikuai Greyhounds Grade 5 – 525 metres
#5 Frank’s Girl – $7.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Tends to mix his form a bit and can put in a shocker but is also capable of a cracker on his day, such as his 30.20 run here three starts back from box eight.
Has a clear speed advantage on the inside quartet and could prove a pace marker hard to run down.
Race 12. 10.25PM Download the Watchdog App Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Silver Man – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Tea Pot Creak in the five has plenty of speed and should carve out some room for this chaser early, he went close last week and doesn’t need much improvement.
He’s got the experience edge on that talented runner and should get the better of him in the run.
