#8 Black Rocks – Bet Now
Solid start to his career winning in sub thirty seconds around Sandown Park showing good box manners from a middle draw, complemented that run with another good third two runs later.
Comes to The Meadows first time with no experience but is in the same boat as the rest of the field, if he can reproduce, his first up Sandown run should have these covered.
Race 3. 7.17PM FT FMA AIG Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Just Lovin’ It – Bet Now
Superb strike rate overall winner of ten races from twenty-three starts has his first at The Meadows here and it looks a good place to start, a low draw and speed to burn key.
Went 29.66 three starts ago running them ragged from this same draw at Sandown, looks the genuine early speed in the race, hard to go past.
Race 4. 7.35PM #30 Years Grade 5 – 525 metres
#4 Reiko Boss – Bet Now
Talented chaser proven here at The Meadows his best time comfortably handles this field, just needs to be on his best behaviour early and get into a stalking role to be a big player in the finish.

Race 5. 7.25PM GR8 8 Series Special event – 725 metres
#7 True Detective – Bet Now
Dual Group One winner has run the hands off the clock at the track and trip, only slight question mark is where he lands from box seven but generally is a reliable beginner and should be able to slide across towards the lead.
Has a good rivalry with Bronski Beat in the one and wouldn’t want to be giving him too much of a start, but that dog hasn’t seen the track before have to go with the proven commodity.
Race 6. 8.20PM Sequential Property Services Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres
#4 Playlist – Bet Now
A lot in his favour here can handle a middle draw with slick early sectional, has run 29.84 winning at the track and trip and last start blitzed them in 29.52 at Sandown Park.
Meets some other dogs in Mepunga Isla and Weblec Ace that can go early, so he’ll have to be on his toes, but his best is good enough here.
Race 7. 8.38PM Sky Racing Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres
#1 Sixties Rocker – Bet Now
Young dog who has only recently stepped up to the 600 metres comes up with the gun draw here, has won three of his five starts from box one and should be able to lead the middle-distance field for fun here.
Two starts ago from box two he went 34.53 here over the trip showing the distance is no barrier, most of the other dogs are seasoned veterans that can’t run that time.
Race 8. 9.01PM TOPCAT Video Free For All – 525 metres
#2 Christo Bale – Bet Now
Young star that just continues to impress stepping up week in week out and should go around a favoured runner here in the Free For All.
Electric early pace sets up his races but he’s not a one trick pony, runs three solid sectionals evidenced by times of 29.72 at The Meadows and 29.29 at Sandown last two starts.
Race 9. 9.25PM TAB.COM.AU Grade 5 – 525 metres
#8 Lektra Yoyo – Bet Now
Speed map looks ideal for Lectra Yoyo in this moderate fifth grade, For The alliance is box seven should take him into the race nicely from out wide and give him every chance to take control early.
Has a liking for outside draws won here from box sevens two starts back followed up by a strong second behind Zambora Lion at Horsham, looks the one to beat.
Race 10. 9.38PM The Meadows Conference & Events Centre Grade 5 – 525 metres
#3 Summer Lights – Bet Now
Punters should get a nice each way quote about this runner, not a prolific winner the dog has always been around the mark running a number of placings in around 30.30 at the track and distance.
A time like that should take him a long way in this race, the inside two should bother each other and maps to hold out the outside quartet.
Race 11. 10.02PM Vic Business Challenge Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Ledgerwood Road – Bet Now
Looks to have good claims here from the wide alley, one of only a few dogs in the field that has significant experience at the track and a second placing in 30.17 four starts ago stands out.
Has won from all boxes the six shouldn’t be a problem, don’t expect him to lead but work his way into a winning position when it matters.
Race 12. 10.22Pm Feikuai Greyhound Grade 5 – 525 metres
#3 Imminent – Bet Now
Been racing in far stronger company at the regional tracks before coming to The Meadows last start and winning on debut, the time was only moderate but from a good alley and a run under the belt should show natural improvement.
Can be an all or nothing type if she bounces expect her to win but if things don’t go her way can shut up shot, worth a go on talent alone.
