Race 1. 6.35Pm Sky Racing Final Mixed 6/7 – 525 metres
#4 Sixties Rocker – $7.50 – Bet Now
A great each way play here in a race that could unfold in a number of different scenarios, has shown the ability to lead or get back and run on to win.
Personal Best 30.09 winning here last start and won at Horsham from box four the start before, good value.
Race 2. 6.58PM Sequential Property Services grade 5 – 525 metres
#7 Manila Knight – $4 – Bet Now
Frist trip to The Meadows but comes here in career best form and is only getting better with just twelve starts under the belt.
Has the early speed to handle a wide draw is four from four from box eight and should be able to carve across and lead.
Winlock Thor is strong late, but Manila Knight should be able to pinch it at the start.
Race 3. 7.17PM GRV Vic Bred Series Final Grade 5 – 525 metres
#1 Aston Dynamo – $1.80 – Bet Now
Paul Abela’s two-year-old looks the real deal a winner of nine from thirteen starts and never out of the placings.
Faces a tough test here but was excellent last week and gets the aid of box one, $1.80 looks about right.
Race 4. 7.37PM Meadows Conference & Events Centre Mix 4/5 – 600 metres
#1 Waging War – $3.20 – Bet Now
Recent form doesn’t read great, but he’s been smashing the line after getting back early and drawn the pole should get every chance to lead.
If he can get to the front is very strong and will take some running down, Aston Cade in box four could be a danger early.
Race 5. 7.58PM Home of 10 Group 1’s Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Lucy’s Milo – $8 – Bet Now
Adept over the 525 and six hundred metres gets her chance here to work into the race with not much early speed outline and will be the one hitting the frame late.
$8 is great value for a bitch you know will give you bang for your buck and run on despite circumstances.
Race 6. 8.20PM TAB.COM.AU Final Grade 5 – 600 metres
#8 I’m A Krakouer – $4.20 – Bet Now
Big winner last week running the race of his life so far racing away for a 34.55 victory, putting him right there time wise for this field.
Switch to the eight is not a huge hurdle like to course wide in the run and at some stage should get his chance to get to them late.
Race 7. 8.43PM Join The 525 Club Now Grade 4 – 525 metres
#4 Shima Breeze – $2.60 – Bet Now
Has the class and experience on the field daughter of Fernando Bale has won twenty races plenty of them coming at The Meadows.
Is a reliable beginner and has an exceptional record from middle boxes, slow starting drawn directly inside should help her across.
Race 8. 9PM TAB Long May We Play Free For All – 525 metres
#6 Black Opium – $1.90 – Bet Now
Fresh off her first Group One looks set to make it four on a trot, it’s a strong field but she’s been racing a class above.
Has been flying out of the lids and box six is ideal for the Thompson trained bitch who doesn’t mind using a bit of the track to the first turn, happy to take $1.90.
Race 9. 9.18PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 – 600 metres
#4 Indulge – $7.50 – Bet Now
Capable of anything on his day has won in 34.60 over the track and trip and multiple times from box four.
Lead all the way here four starts ago to win and showed versatility running into a strong second last start, over the odds at his price.
Race 10. 9.41PM Feikuai Greyhounds Grade 5 – 525 metres
#8 Ellias Bale – $3.50 – Bet Now
A dog in form, not out of the placings in his last five headlined by a five hundred metre win at Bendigo where he won by three and a half from box eight.
Aston Stealth in the six is the other early speed and should bring him into the race, will be tough to hold out.
Race 11. 10.01PM TOPCAT Video Grade 5 – 525 metres
#7 Razor Burn – $3.40 – Bet Now
Had been a perennial place getting up until a month ago, was always quick early but runs out his races much better which has shone through in his results.
Looks to get it his own way here from the draw where he’s a two-time winner.
Big Dove is box five has a motor but is not well drawn in the middle on the line could create some chaos early with razor Burn the beneficiary.
Race 12. 10.22PM Download The Watchdog App Grade 5 – 525 metres
#3 Lot Coin Babe – $10 – Bet Now
Has been racing in tough company over the 600 metres of late and when she draws a box has been far from disgraced.
Ran an eye catching second at Sandown five starts ago from a similar draw, inconsistency at box rise is your worry but at $10 is well worth the play.
