The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.35PM Sequential Property Services Grade 5 – 525 metres

#1 Sixties Rocker – $1.90 – Bet Now

More than happy to take the shorts about this up and comer, forgive run when squeezed early from a middle draw last time out the start before went 30.09 in winning from box one at the track and distance.

Just nine starts to his name is building a following and gets a great shot at another metro win here.

Race 2. 6.58PM Vale Karen Leak Grade 5 – 525 metres

#2 He Shall Blitz – $3.60 – Bet Now

Brings cracking Sandown Park form here and assuming he handles the track is going to be very hard to beat.

Has won three of his past five all at Sandown Park including a 29.61 best out of box two which he gets here at The Meadows.

Has shown consistent early speed since the turn in form and no reason he can’t get to the top again here.

Race 3. 7.17PM Topcat Video Grade 5 – 600 metres

#4 Burn Time – $3.20 – Bet Now

Living up to his name of late stayer on the rise consistently running better races each time out, has the ability to push forward and run the hands off the clock.

Most recently a 34.19 winner at Sandown over the distance but has also done it at the Meadows 600, can win from any box, price looks generous.

Race 4. 7.35PM Sky racing Final Grade 5 – 525 metres

#1 Run By Night – $2.20 – Bet Now

Jeff Britton has this son of Hey Fergus low flying at the moment, boasting an imposing nine wins and six minors from twenty-four starts he’s won three on the trot including a 29.83 effort here last start.

Comes up with the gun draw and although he has speed beside him in box two is capable of sitting just off the pace and being too strong late.

Race 5. 7.58PM TAB.COM.AU Grade 5 – 525 metres

#2 Welsly Bale – $10 – Bet Now

First good looking each way prospect appears in race five, Welsly Bale is a tried and tested commodity at The Meadows consistently down around the 30 second mark without winning lately.

Draws outside red-hot favourite Fire Legend in the one who is yet to see the track, if he hesitates early Welsly could take up the running but also has the ability to come from midfield, huge place chance if he can’t win.

Race 6. 8.15PM GR8 Eight Special Event – 600 metres

#1 Lucy’s Milo – $3.40 – Bet Now

A lot of things in her favour here after a bold run over the shorter distance last start where she made up a lot of ground into second, steps back up to her favoured 600 metres, draws the red giving her time to settle, muster and rail, boasts a great record at the track and trip.

Back to back winner here three and four starts ago in well under thirty-five seconds, very keen to play here.

Race 7. 8.35PM Feikuai Greyhound Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres

#6 Ruby Girl – $3.50 – Bet Now

Drawn to get a lovely run into the race should be able to follow Ultimate Bling across and be forward in the run, not bothered by outside boxes.

Has a huge motor clearly the best time of these at the track, should land in a stalking role and take over mid-race.

Race 8. 8.57PM TAB Long May We Play Free For All – 525 metres

#4 Black Opium – $1.60 – Bet Now

Recent Group One winner was desperately unlucky last start about to take over when copping a check, still rallied into a strong second.

Has been bulletproof out of the lids and even against this free for all field should be able to lead or sit outside and run time the others simply aren’t up to, happy to take the price.

Race 9. 9.15PM Bendigo to The Meadows Final Grade 5 – 525 metres

#7 Who Cry Now – $6.50 – Bet Now

Very keen on the son of Goodesy’s chances here, just like his father in renowned for his strength, also encouraging that all his career victories have been from box five and out.

Bendigo form lines aren’t the best, but gets back to a track where he has more room to wind up and has tasted success in the past running under the 30 second mark.

Race 10. 9.35PM Download The Watchdog App Grade 5 – 525 metres

#8 Big Brebler – $8 – Bet Now

Newcomer to the Meadows but Sandown Park form stacks up well and draws wide where she’s excelled from lately, 29.66 at Sandown from the same draw.

Big chance to appreciate and use the bigger track and cross these, other main hopes haven’t been in great form, definitely the value here.

Race 11. 9.53PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 – 525 metres

#2 Ledgerwood Road – $4.50 – Bet Now

Must respect has been a model of consistency over his career adept out of any box and is getting very close to win number ten.

Can’t ignore last start finishing second from a wide draw in 30.17, a time which probably has these covered, gets closer to the rail and with fair luck early should be winning.

Race 12. 10.12PM Home of 10 Group 1’s Grade 5 – 525 metres

#4 Love and Thunder – $4.60 – Bet Now

Another pup on the rise for the Britton kennel has only been out of the placings twice in ten starts ad has the ability to fly early and is a possible leader here.

The one has speed as well and could hold Love and Thunder out, but if the dog is anywhere around the $4.60 quote will give you great value for money.
