The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6:32PM TAB Long May We Play Final – 525 metres
#2 Electrifying – $3.40 – Bet Now
Lived us to his name with his heat win last week pinging the lids and leading all the way for a comfortable maiden win.
Step up in grade doesn’t look too great and will be stronger his second start over the 525 metres, a member of a quality litter out of the Jason Thompson kennel.
Race 2. 6:53PM Ballarat to The Meadows Series Final
#6 Percy’s Magic – $4 – Bet Now
Has been building an outstanding record at the provincial tracks, close second to Buddy Boy Turbo who he meets again here and should be able to turn the tables loves a wide draw and room to move.
May not be the first away but with most of these stepping up in distance has the most mid to late race speed to win.
Race 3. 7:14PM Sky Racing Grade 5 Final – 525 metres
#8 Steinbrenner – $2.60 – Bet Now
The class runner of the field exploded out of the boxes last week gapping them in a quick 29.98.
Tougher task this week switching from the one box to the eight where he hasn’t won before, but this field isn’t much stronger than what he saw last time out and if he begins in the first few too strong to hold out.
Race 4. 7:45PM Every Race Live On The Watchdog App Mix 4/5 – 600 metres
#1 Jayville Slick – $.3.40 – Bet Now
Has been beaten by some exceptional greyhounds of late Mr. Harlewood and True Detective has been game running a place on both occasions.
Gets back to his pet distance over the 600 metres and draws the red could well and truly repeat his 34.50 performance from the same draw two starts ago.
Race 5. 8PM Topcat Video Grade 5 – 525 metres
#Zambora Lou – $1.90 – Bet Now
You’re asked to take odds on about this greyhound but as his best he should be winning in this grade easily.
Out of boom sire Zambora Brockie has great strength at the back end of his races and if he can bring his Sandown form to the Meadows is worth the shorts.
Race 6. 8:20PM Sequential Property Services Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres
#1 Lot’s Of Chatter – $2.80 – Bet Now
Has been flying at Sandown of late and put in a huge run at Warrnambool two starts ago over the unsuitable shorter distance.
Finds the right race here draws perfectly in box one where he is three from three if he can hold the fence will have plenty in the tank for the back half.
Race 7. 8:40PM Home of 10 Group 1’s Grade 5 – 600 metres
#5 I’m A Krakouer – $8 – Bet Now
Out of the powerful Jeff Britton kennel has been racing over the shorter trips a brilliant last start winner over 460 metres at Geelong.
Inexperienced over the trip but in this field has a chance to lead clearly with no other early speed on paper and previous runs suggest that the extra ground shouldn’t be a problem, great value each way at $8.
Race 8. 8:58PM Feikuai Greyhounds Free For All – 525 metres
#8 Toby Time – $5 – Bet Now
Ideally drawn out in box eight in this field with no immediate pace inside him should give him time to muster and cross the field.
Lucy’s Milo in box one is a deserved favourite but gets a long way back in her races, if Toby Time can put up a gap early and run around his recent 29.98 best, he looks a good thing.
Race 9. 9:17PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 – 525 metres
#3 Sweet Impala – $3.60 – Bet Now
This daughter of Barcia Bale is not the most consistent chaser but from inside draws in grade five fields has put the quickest time of the lot on the board and this looks a great chance at win number five.
Should outpace the inside brigade early, while betting threat Durant in the six could be hampered by speed in seven and eight, happy to take the $3.60 on offer here.
Race 10. 9:37PM TAB.COM.AU Grade 5 – 525 metres
#Noonburra Jack – $4.80 – Bet Now
Racing consistently close to the money over the shorter journeys has a best of 30.02 here and is due to breakthrough.
Should be able to sit in behind the leaders from box one and with superior Meadows form will have the drop on them late.
Race 11. 9:57PM Like GR Victoria on Facebook Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Cha Cha Charlie – $2.40 – Bet Now
Former Queenslander has top grade form lines at Albion Park earlier in the year and has since been purchased by master trainer Steve White who obviously saw potential.
Has shown flashes in first three starts for the new kennel at sale and White steps him back up to his regular distance here, looks to have the most upside of the field.
Race 12. 10:15Pm Join The 535 Metre Club Now Grade 5 – 525 metres
#4 Bobby The Brute – $4.80 – Bet Now
Strongest dog in the field, the concern is how far back he gets at the start and if he cops interference from the centre draw, but is powerful home and at $4.80 is the value of this field.
