The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.27PM Home of Ten Group 1’s Mixed 6/7 Final – 525 metres
#8 Carry On Liam – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Won three races in his young career here at the track two from boxes seven and eight, also comes in off a 30.24 effort his best time yet.
Isn’t a lid pinger and will rely on luck early but has been up over the six hundred and looks an ideal each way bet.
Race 2. 6.49PM Sky Racing Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Tiberia Bale – $9 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been unlucky of late getting knocked over early but there’s not a lot of speed around him here and he’s raced well from inside draws here in the past.
Has good form close up behind Faithy Bale, finds a much easier race where he can muster early and has the strength advantage over the short course dogs.
Race 3. 7.07PM TOPCAT Video Grade 5 – 525 metres
#8 Eagles Nest Egg – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has taken to The Meadows like he’s been racing here his whole life, 30.08 first look and 30 flat second up, should only improve again this time in.
Has been in the leading pair on both of those occasions and maps well to come across from box eight where he’s won from before.
Race 4. 7.29PM Meadows Conference & Events Centre Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Zipping Walter – $4.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
A fifteen-time winner he’s recently turned his attention from burning around one turn tracks to tackling the two turns at The Meadows.
Ran 30.23 here last week only beaten a short margin, has won four times from box six and should ping close to the lead.
Race 5. 7.47PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 – 600 metres
#6 Sizzling Sam – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is in the best form on his young career, has been committed to he six hundred at Sandown for a long time and it’s paid dividends with two slashing wins his last two starts.
Zipping Brady will run wide and give him plenty of room from the draw, if he gets around the first corner, he’s the biggest threat.
Race 6. 8.10PM TAB Make a Date Grade 4 – 525 metres
#1 Zipping Imogen – $4.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has early speed to burn and comes up trumps with box one, if she can hold out Gypsy Bun in the three it looks her race for the taking.
Has led his last five starts for two wins and three minors and has a quick 30.11 personal best here at the track.
Race 7. 8.27PM Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres
#1 Whodat Opal – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Gets her chance to atone for missing the kick here two starts ago, still chased on well into fourth, before that was a slashing 34.4 winner here over the distance.
Is a front running middle-distance dog and gets the chance to get on the bunny from the red and pinch a gap from Get it Gizmo and others.
Race 8. 8.50PM Vic Business Challenge Mixed ¾ – 525 metres
#1 Better Watch Out – $2.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has plenty of experience here at the track in good company, recent wins over Wallbanger and Gypsy Bun read as great form for this race.
Takes a few strides to muster but is always prominent, box one will help, has gone sub thirty here in the past.
Race 9. 9.05PM Greyhound Clubs Victoria Grade 5 – 525 metres
#8 Zipping Rambo – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Massive run first up at The Meadows last week was equal favourite and got checked off the track at the first turn was never a winning hope but caught the eye in third.
Can jump much better and is powerful late, excellent Wentworth Park form when in New South Wales.
Race 10. 9.27PM KCR Pet Transport Grade 5 – 525 metres
#1 Frank’s Girl – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been racing in elite company behind Bobby The Brute and Zipping Bram at Sandown Park, looks to have found her right race here should get a trail behind Fernando Bluey and finish the better.
Seven career wins from twenty starts and gets her chance to score number one at The Meadows here.
Race 11. 9.45PM Feikuai Greyhounds Grade 5 – 525 metres
#4 Halwes – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Strongest dog in this race, middle draw is a concern but Church Mouse and Steamy Jack in boxes 3 and 2 will be headed for the fence giving her room to get into striking distance early.
Has won over the sprint trip and the middle distance, the price looks well overs for this race.
Race 12. 10.02PM Download The New Watchdog App Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Take the Lead – $9 – Bet @ Sportsbet
As honest as they come, won’t blow you away with early speed or strength but does everything well and from a good draw in a moderate race looks a great each way hope.
Sandown Park form has been excellent, can lead early and give a good sight.
