The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 7.01PM GRV Vic Bred Series Grade 5 Final – 525 metres

#6 Bareki – Bet @ Sportsbet

Don’t expect much of a price for this bitch but if she brings her best she just wins this, as she’s done on seventeen occasions already in a blossoming career.

Lit it up here at track and trip last time out in 29.72 clearing out by over a dozen lengths, this is a tougher test but she looks bullet proof right now.

Race 2. 7.20PM themeadows.org.au Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres

#8 Plan Ahead – Bet @ Sportsbet

Should come up a nice each-way price in this event and at his best he’s well capable of knocking it off, versatility aplenty over the sprint and middle-distance trips here.

Hasn’t been far away of late and if he jumps well again has a superior middle section and run home to plenty of his rivals.

Race 3. 7.38PM KCR Pet Transport Grade 4 – 525 metres

#1 Handsome Rhino – Bet @ Sportsbet

Ran into the fastest dog on the planet last start Aston Rupee in free for all company and was no match but still finished a strong third in a deep field.

Loves it from the rails draw a three-time winner including a 29.75 run here at The Meadows which will see him hold these out and continue his consistent run of good form.

Race 4. 8.00PM Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning Mixed ¾ – 525 metres

#4 Nikoli Bale – Bet @ Sportsbet

Strong type who’ll rely on a good run to the first turn, but if he gets it can really turn the screws in the middle and late stages of the run.

Had been competing in top company over the six hundred and has just taken a few starts to re-acclimate himself with the sprint, should come up a good price.

Race 5. 8.19PM Sky Racing Final Grade 5 – 525 metres

#3 Ben Mayo – Bet @ Sportsbet

Potential future star, has been in the money all of his last five with two wins and three minors, the times he’s missed out have been huge runs when inconvenienced at some point.

Usually charges out of the boxes and heads for the fence which he should find comfortably here from box three, the youngster could teach the older dogs a lesson.

Race 6. 8.38PM TAB Top Gun Stayers Group One – 725 metres

#4 Hank the Hustler – Bet @ Sportsbet

There are a lot of up and coming stayers in this field who are well and truly worthy of their spot, but they haven’t been around the block like Hank has.

He’s featured in races of this calibre in the past and is going as good as ever, gives himself options can either ping or go back and run on, his form hasn’t waivered and it looks to be his time.

Race 7. 8.57PM Houdini Boy @ Stud Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres

#3 Aratuza Bale – Bet @ Sportsbet

Numerical form is far from great but the furthest she’s been off the winner in her last five is six lengths, has often been drawn wide and forced back early.

Her statistics are completely different from the inside draws and while box one will definitely lead her she has the fitness to sit behind them in the run and produce a winning finish.

Race 8. 9.16PM TAB Top Gun Group One – 525 metres

#2 Aston Rupee – Bet @ Sportsbet

Can’t go past the favourite here, his performances on the clock this year have been astounding and he’s shown in recent weeks he’s learning how to navigate a field which will make him nigh on impossible to roll.

Mr. Fix It and other will bounce out in front of him early and lead, but if he lands mid-field look for him to explode in the run with a turn of foot none of these superstars can match.

Race 9. 9.38PM thephoenix.melbourne Grade 5 – 525 metres

#4 Hadouken – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has out graded himself in recent months after going on a winning streak earlier this year, he’s not up to some of he dogs he’s been racing but is a huge shout back in this class.

He’s one of the best box dogs going and wherever he’s drawn will be spearing towards the lead, used to be suspect late but has strengthened that element up.

Race 10. 10.00PM Gorski Tippers and Trailers Grade 5 – 525 metres

#8 Irinka Riley – Bet @ Sportsbet

Astute New South Wales trainer Jack Smith has brought this very handy type down along with his Top Gun chances and he’ll go close here.

Would prefer inside but has a huge motor making up lengths to finish an eye catching second at Wentworth Park last week.

Race 11. 10.24PM victoolshop.com Grade 5 – 525 metres

#4 Trending Quarter – Bet @ Sportsbet

A lot of these have struggled for consistency, this dog being one of them but there’s plenty in his favour with his like for a squeeze draw and the 525 at The Meadows.

Can show out with the best of them here and you know he’ll handle the circuit unlike some others.

Race 12. 10.46PM TAB.COM.AU Grade 5 – 525 metres

#7 Code Blue Sue – Bet @ Sportsbet

Cruelled by tough box draws and even harder races lately, she won’t do it easy again from the seven but drops in class here.

Bank on a bit of luck to the first turn and if she’s switched on she can blow right on past this field.
