The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 4.18PM Gorski Tippers and Trailers Mixed 6/7 – 525 metres
#1 Gypsy Toowoomba – $4.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been thrown to the wolves a bit at a young age chopping and changing between distances getting as far up as the 660 metres.
Started her career well racing here over the 525 and second run back from a gun draw she should be able to hold her position on the fence and come into the race when it counts.
Race 2. 4.34PM Sky Racing Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Rahim Bale – $7.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Probably hasn’t been getting the praise he deserves of late, a win three seconds and a fourth in his last five starts doing it at multiple tracks and distances.
Massive run last time from back in the field at Sandown, he can begin much better than that and the testing trip at The Meadows should suit his style.
Race 3. 4.57PM TAB.COM.AU Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Kanji Giant – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Finds his right race here, the form looks great when he beat Rahim Bale in 30.15 just three starts back at track and trip and hasn’t been far off against good competition his last two.
Can step on his day and with not far to find the rail he’ll put together some nice splits over the five hundred metres.
Race 4. 5.22PM thephoenix.melbourne Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres
#7 Graclyn Bale – $6.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
She can give you a fright with her lack of mid-race speed but she turns it on when it counts at box jump and in the final drive to the line.
She’d been a bridesmaid until last start when breaking through at the distance and will hopefully kick on to fulfil her massive potential at an each-way quote.
Race 5. 5.38PM 98 Days Until the Tab Phoenix Final Grade 5 Final – 525 metres
#2 Isolating – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was expected to be hard to beat in his heat for this race and was just that posting 30.01 a personal best putting five lengths on his nearest rival.
He’ll be put to the test against some similarly talented chasers here, but the plumb draw and the fresh form has him primed for a marquee win.
Race 6. 5.59PM themeadows.org.au Free for All – 525 metres
#5 Earn the Answers – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Tremendous value considering what he did to a stronger free for all than this just last week, he was in the market but not fancied and flew out of the eight for a first out first home win.
If he shows similar speed he’ll lead again and they weren’t making ground on him in the run, more than happy to have him on an each-way basis.
Race 7. 6.17PM Home of the Phoenix Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres
#1 Mepunga Warrior – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has the class edge on these an eleven-time winner his success has come over the middle-distance of late where he’s run some great time as a front runner.
Was serviceable dropping back to the sprint last start and should be spritely and ready to go second up from a gun draw.
Race 8. 6.38PM TOPCAT Video Cup Final Group 3 – 725 metres
#6 Five Star – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was back to his early 2021 form where he was arguably the best stayer in the country in last weeks heats, putting the pace on early and not letting up in a one act affair.
Has the dash to get across Hank the Hustler and Here’s Tears, if he finds the top even a talented bitch like Mepunga Ruby will be flat out chasing him down.
Race 9. 7.02PM KCR Pet Transport Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Gypsy Bun – $6.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has gone through a few form fluctuations over her sixty-seven career start but has been nearing win eighteen and finds the right race to do it.
Has always excelled here at track and trip especially from inside boxes, has the pace to stick with them early and the runs in the legs to get the best of a tight finish.
Race 10. 7.21PM Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning Grade 5 – 525 metres
#5 Night to Burn – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Builds his races around early speed, the five won’t worry him here if he pings and will actually play to his advantage with jostling for position highly likely back in the pack.
Has some speed drawn outside him, but even though he’s not the strongest dog knows how to punch out the 525 here.
Race 11. 7.39PM Houdini Boy @ Stud Grade 5 – 525 metres
#3 Paddy Wants Pats – $3.40 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Star prospect who’s racing pattern can sometimes get him in to trouble, is not the best at the start but any luck to the first turn and here’s your winner.
He’s been behind Aston Rupee and Kuro Kismet in his last few starts gets a class drop and should capitalize.
Race 12. 7.58PM victoolshop.com Grade 5 – 525 metres
#5 Madam Rosmerta – $21 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looking to go out with a bang here, this bitch deserves a bet at this quote she’s one of the best box dogs in Victoria over the five hundred and while she may get tired late is more than a knockout hope.
