The Meadows Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 3.24PM KCR Pet Transport Grade 7 – 525 metres
#1 Handsome Jack – $4.60 – Bet Now
Strong effort here last start working hard early to find the front from box five and defiant late to score in 30.41.
Has been met with good support at both starts has obviously shown talent, maps to get a good run across with Redbank Lilly in the five an early speed merchant, if he can hold her back watch out late.
Race 2. 3.43PM Speedstar 16th September Grade 6 – 525 metres
#4 Shy But Savage – $3.40 – Bet Now
Untested over the 525 metres but looks like he’s made of the right stuff winner in quick time at Ballarat over the 450 and a good second last start.
Has shown good box manners and looks a possible leader here from the centre draw, we’ll find out about his motor late but he should be near the top early.
Race 3. 4.04PM TOPCAT Video Final Mixed 6/7 – 525 metres
#6 Polarising – $4.80 – Bet Now
Just the one win from six starts but hasn’t missed a minor placing, gunned down on the line in last week’s heat and has been getting stronger with each run can overcome box six and lead.
Another dominant chances are stacked inside, if he can muster and go around them will take catching.
Race 4. 4.23PM Healsville Cup Tomorrow Grade 5 – 525 metres
#6 Farmor Watchers – $8 – Bet Now
Needs things to go his way in a race to figure and this looks very winnable, he’s an early speed dog that gets his chance from box six with a vacant to his inside.
If he can cross has run serious time including a 29.55 win four back at Sandown, over the odds at his current price.
Race 5. 4.40PM TAB.COM.AU Final Grade 5 – 525 metres
#1 Hazey Roy – $4.60 – Bet Now
Clear standout in the heats jumping from box one tracking the leader for a 30.16 win which has most of these covered.
Does have pace directly outside but even if he doesn’t lead has shown race sense to find a spot on the fence and give himself a chance at some point.
Race 6. 5.04PM Home of 10 Group 1’s Mixed 4/5 – 600 metres
#2 Spearhead – $3.40 – Bet Now
Big effort here last start only behind the brilliant Houdini Boy, draws well in box two and shows good early speed over sprint and middle-distance trips.
Mixes his runs between five and six hundred but is a perfect blend of speed and strength, will take something serious to beat him here.
Race 7. 5.24PM Cookes Electrical and Air Conditioning Mixed 4/5 – 525 metres
#1 Lucy’s Milo – $2.80 – Bet Now
Comes up with the plumb draw here, takes a few steps to muster but is a mad railer and will hold the fence early and turn on the power mid-race.
Has been doing everything but winning lately and gets her chance for win number nineteen here.
Race 8. 5.38PM VIC Business Challenge Free For All – 525 metres
#6 Black Opium – $1.80 – Bet Now
Happy to take the shorts about Jason Thompson’s dual Group One winner here, has missed out her last few starts with some bad luck early but from box six with no early speed inside looks a wrap.
Christo Bale will be storming home from box eight but the draw is a big inconvenience, Back Opium back to her winning ways.
Race 9. 5.59PM TAB Long May We Play Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Enicka Bale – $8 – Bet Now
Outstanding three wins and a second from four starts continues to raise the bar a 30.28 winner from box seven last start.
Goes up in grade again but has the scope to handle it, early speed aplenty winning over the sprint trip and 525 has been no worries either, over the odds.
Race 10. 6.18PM Join The 525 Metre Club Now Grade 5 – 525 metres
#2 Idria Bale – $4.20 – Bet Now
Doesn’t win out of turn but rarely runs a bad race either and finds herself in a winnable fifth grade and an inside draw, she hasn’t won a race drawn outside box three.
Speedy Spyro on her outside may lead but she looks to get the sit on it and will get every chance.
Race 11. 6.37PM Feikuai Greyhound Grade 5 – 525 metres
#8 Coco Nova – $3.60 – Bet Now
On debut here at the Meadows and at her best she can make it a winning one, has proven formidable around the one turn tracks winning in good time from wide boxes looks time to step up.
Two of her four wins come from box seven, has never had the eight but should appreciate the extra time to get across the small field.
Race 12. 6.57PM themeadows.org.au Grade 5 – 525 metres
#8 Teddy Too – $4.80 – Bet Now
Best form by far here at the track and trip, three-time winner with a recent best of 30.27, isn’t a superstar but will run you solid sectionals and is a real 520 metre pro.
If he can avoid getting trapped too wide on the first turn it will go a long way to winning this race.
