We have expert betting tips for the greyhound cards this Thursday at Q 2 Parklands and Angle Park, which includes Group 1 action.
There is always great value at Thursday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
Q 2 Parklands Racing Tips
Moet Magic has yet to run at the track and distance, but she’s a 12-time winner with enough ability to beat this field.
She comes off a third placing at the track, and although it came over 600m, she looks set to handle the rise to 710m.
Look for her to settle on the speed and give a good kick.
Stake: 1 Unit
Neame has been a good bet for punters, having posted 15 wins and seven placings from only 24 starts.
The two-year-old son of Hooked on Scotch loves running at the track and distance, and his most recent win was a great effort.
We expect him to fight out the finish from a wide draw.
Stake: 2 Unit
Cumbria Jack won’t be easy to beat, but My Boy Bingo should get a good run off the inside draw, and he pays each-way odds.
The three-year-old scored a good heat win by 3.75 lengths, and something close to that should be good enough to win the final.
If the favourite gets in early trouble, he should be tough to hold out.
Stake: 1 Unit
Looking for her fourth consecutive victory is Secret Bandit, who held on gamely in her heat win.
The two-year-old daughter of Bernardo is a 15-time winner, and although Winsome Jet is tough to beat, she is loving her work this season.
We’re taking the better value with the second favourite.
Stake: 1 Unit
Angle Park Racing Tips
Flying Artie has looked good when winning his last two starts at the track and distance, where he has an excellent record.
The three-year-old owns seven wins from 14 starts at the track and distance, so his experience here should help his chances of winning.
Look for shortening odds on race night.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Paw Petrov is a 22-time winner, and although beaten in his last three starts, he went close with back-to-back second placings.
The three-year-old son of Feral Franky didn’t have any luck last start when checked on the first turn, but he showed toughness to run second.
We’re happy to keep backing him this season.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Bandit Daryl is a beautifully named greyhound, who has strung five consecutive wins together this preparation.
The four-year-old son of Fernando Bale has yet to race at the track and distance, but his win at Angle Park over 595m is a good form guide.
We suggest taking the odds and including him in greyhound multi bets.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Statue of Time showed good speed when winning here two starts back, and it could pay to ignore his recent run at Sandown Park.
The three-year-old defeated the tough Echoes of Dad two back, and he is good enough to score an upset over Lil Rex.
Take the each-way odds available with bookmakers.
Stake: 1 Unit
