We have expert betting tips for the greyhound cards this Thursday at Angle Park and Wentworth Park.
There is always great value at Thursday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
Angle Park Racing Tips
Catch My Design is gunning for his third consecutive win, and he doesn’t need to improve too much to handle this field.
The two-year-old son of Dyna Double One has yet to win at the track and distance, but he has been close with six placings.
The small field is ideal, so include him in picks.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Paw Petrov has shown his class recently, including back-to-back wins at Angle Park, where he thrives.
The three-year-old son of Feral Franky owns three wins and seven placings from 10 starts at the track and distance, which bodes well for this race.
We expect him to ping the lids and be tough to run down.
Stake: 2 Units
Lil Rex hasn’t had much luck recently, but we’re happy to give him another chance at each-way odds.
The one-year-old son of Bernardo has a quality record of five wins from 15 starts, including two wins at the track and distance, so the form is on the board.
If he can get back to his best, he should be tough to hold out.
Stake: 1 Unit
Running at short odds is Victa Krev, and we’re not surprised by the odds given his 4.75-length win last time out.
The two-year-old owns 11 wins from 26 starts, and although he’ll need to get around Zinfandel Emma, he has the early speed to navigate it.
He will be a multi-bet inclusion for many punters on Thursday night.
Stake: 3 Units
Wentworth Park Racing Tips
Ritza Armani has been close to breaking through for a win after consecutive placings, and this looks like an ideal target for her.
The two-year-old daughter of Feral Franky ran third on debut at Richmond before finishing second last start, and rising to 520m is ideal.
Look for a betting push on race night, which is likely to come.
Stake: 2 Units
Boasting recent winning form is Unleash in Miami, who has a 50%-win rate throughout his 54-start career.
The four-year-old scored his last two wins at Temora, and although they didn’t come at Wentworth Park, he is a three-time winner at the track and distance from only 10 attempts.
He has been good to punters, so there is no reason to leave him out.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Prince Tommy has three wins from his last four starts, and he could make a winning track debut on Thursday night.
The two-year-old son of Tommy Shelby does most of his racing at Richmond, and he has nine wins and six placings from 19 starts overall.
He’s a speedster, and he could be one worth following.
Stake: 2 Units
Looking to remain unbeaten is Status Jewel, who won by four lengths at Gosford last time out.
The one-year-old daughter of Equaliser could have a bright future, and although she has drawn in the middle of the pack, she has early speed.
We expect short odds, so she’s worth including in greyhound multi bets.
Stake: 3 Units
