We have expert betting tips for the greyhound cards this Thursday at Sandown Park and Wentworth Park.
There is always great value at Thursday greyhound meetings, and we have our best bets across the two cards.
Sandown Park Racing Tips
Inclination could be a nice type in the making after posting wins at his last two starts, including a booming 7.25-length win last Saturday.
The one-year-old will need to show good trap speed from a middle draw, but he hit the ground running last time out.
We expect him to win, and the odds could be in the shorter range.
Stake: 3.5 Units
Looking to use the inside draw to her advantage is Paw Sapphire, who comes off consecutive wins at Sandown and Geelong.
The two-year-old daughter of Aussie Infrared owns nine wins from 23 starts, and she has hit top gear this preparation, which is great to see.
We’re happy to keep backing her from the gun draw.
Stake: 2 Units
Punters could get each-way value for High Five Indy, who got back to winning form at The Meadows two starts ago.
There is more depth to this field, but the two-year-old daughter of Tommy Shelby has her confidence levels up, which should take her close.
We’re happy to include her in picks on the quick back-up.
Stake: 1 Unit
Seeking back-to-back wins is Paw Zuri, who got the better of a tidy field at The Meadows last time out.
She is running in fine form this preparation, including a seven-length win two back, and her form at Sandown Park is excellent.
We expect her to run well, and anything around $2 is a fair price.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Wentworth Park Racing Tips
Pound Keeping owns four wins from five starts, and the one-year-old daughter of Aston Rupee is our top pick to win again.
She bounced back from a third placing with two quality wins, and although they weren’t by massive margins, she has professionalism.
Getting the inside draw makes it a tough ask for her opposition.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Prim and Pretty ran second behind Pound Keeping last start, which should be an excellent form guide, and it could be franked in the opening race.
The three-year-old has plenty of experience to call on, and although she’s only a three-time winner, she should have won more.
Stick with her at each-way odds.
Stake: 1 Unit
Class is with Canya Handle It, who got back to winning form with a 1.5-length victory at Wentworth Park.
The two-year-old son of Wow owns four wins and four placings from 11 starts at the track and distance, so the form is on the board.
We expect him to run well against this level of opposition.
Stake: 2 Units
Overflow Beau is enjoying a successful campaign after posting three wins and three second placings from his last six starts.
The four-year-old has a wealth of experience, but he’s not slowing down, and he is good enough to beat this field from a wide draw.
Look for each-way odds on race night.
Stake: 1 Unit
