Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.50PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Grade 5 Heat 1 – 520 metres
#7 Papi Go Fast – $1.75 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This up-and-coming Victorian superstar gets his first look around Wentworth Park, no doubt with an eye to tackling bigger races in the future.
The dogs missed the money once in twenty-nine starts and does his damage with blistering early speed, is a six-time winner from box seven and won’t be caught if he leads.
Race 2. 7.10PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Grade 5 Heat 2 – 520 metres
#1 Sassy Ethics – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Her form has been outstanding of late, a winner over the sprint at Nowra before a 29.89 triumph here followed by a runner-up performance in free for all company.
Her latest Wentworth Park win was her first at the track and she should take plenty of confidence into this and get all the favours from box one.
Race 3. 7.30PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Grade 5 Heat 3 – 520 metres
#5 Jax Cade – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
One of the more underrated Wentworth Park dogs, has never broken the clock, but any six-time winner has some serious ability and he’s done his damage from similar box draws.
Likes to loom up outside the leaders, is very strong through the middle where he can find the top and keep it.
Race 4. 7.48PM Ausure Regional Ultra Sense Grade 5 Heat 4 – 520 metres
#3 Nangar Gold – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was able to bring his provincial form to the city last start a strong second behind Unreal Ethics in Free for All company, backing up placings and wins at Dubbo and Temaura.
Has the speed to break well from the middle of the line here and you’d like to see him pressing for the front, should take improvement second up track and trip.
Race 5. 8.08PM Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Semi-Final 1 – 520 metres
#5 Fernando Bluey – $1.95 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looked a good thing in last weeks heat and delivered first up at the track never in danger running 29.47 off the back of his Australian Cup runner-up performance in Melbourne.
Is drawn alongside another impressive heat winner in Zipping Kyrgios here, if he can muster early he cuts him off in the four and it should be a bridge too far for the local.
Race 6. 8.38PM Ladbroke Golden Easter Egg Semi-Final 2 – 520 metres
#6 Zulu Warlord – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Choosing to tip away from Tommy Shelby in the red here, there’s just a chance he gets bottled away on the rail whereas Zulu Warlord gets his right box and show fly out to an early lead.
He is suspect late, and you don’t want the favourite stalking him, but he’ll be making his own luck on in front.
Race 7. 8.57PM Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Semi-Final 3 – 520 metres
#2 Wow – $1.55 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Did what everyone knew he was capable of in his heat and smashed both his rivals and the clock with a sizzling 29.38 gallop, considerably lowering his personal best.
Even more impressive it was his first run for a few weeks and moving into the two Saturday night should only help getting to the rail early.
Race 8. 9.15PM Ladbrokes Golden Easter Egg Semi-Final 4 – 520 metres
#8 Flying Ricciardo – $1.25 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The price is as skinny as it gets but the series favourite is more than deserving posting 29.22 last week the fastest run at Wentworth Park in almost four years.
He was drawn the fence that day, coming up with box eight is the next best thing with nothing outside him his acceleration should see him a clear winner, watch the clock.
Race 9. 9.38PM Association Cup Group 2 Heat 1 – 720 metres
#3 Let’s See – $6 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks the value here, Stanley Road handled her comfortably last start but she’s better than what she showed that day only going down to Sunset Bourbski in full flight the race before.
Her best time here is better that all of these and from box three should find a spot mid-field on the rail to unleash a late run from.
Race 10. 9.58PM Association Cup Group 2 Heat 2 – 720 metres
#7 Just Terms – $12 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The bitch isn’t what she used to be at the top of her game when she was winning Group One’s but loves it around here and with all the early speed in this race could be the one hitting the frame late.
Has run third. Third and sixth last three runs but never more than four lengths from the winner, a vintage performance is coming.
Race 11. 10.20PM Association Cup Group 2 Heat 3 – 720 metres
#7 Maggie Moo Moo – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was looming into last weeks non-graded contest really nicely approaching the home turn before finding bother and being checked back through the field.
She would have taken a lot of benefit from that run and from box seven can fly the lids and go close to leading these where she’ll be very tough to catch.
