Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.27PM GBOTA Welcome Grade 5 – 520 metres

#1 Lanmore Babe – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been the bridesmaid a bit too often for punters but this looks an ideal race with plenty of veterans and youngsters she looks to have covered.

Had a string of three runner-up performances going until she missed out on the money last start, is reliable away, has won two from two drawn box one and has fourteen races under her belt at the track and trip.

Race 2. 6.53PM Ladbrokes Back Yourself Grade 5 – 525 metres

#1 Candy Carrera – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

A four-time winner here comes back to Wentworth with some seriously good form lines, over the five hundred and six hundred metres winning two of her last three.

Is sometimes better drawn off the track that’s the only knock here, everything else says she’ll get the run of the race and be the one going best late.

Race 3. 7.10PM Ladbrokes Summer Distance Plate Non-Graded – 720 metres

#1 Blazing Cartier – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Out and out Group Class stayer who comes to this race off a brilliant win over Here’s Tears in Melbourne and has tasted plenty of success here before with four scores on the board.

Will likely drift back to midfield from box one but has he smarts to pick her way through and looks to be a little too classy for the standard local dogs.

Race 4. 7.28PM Ladbrokes Summer Distance Plate Non-Graded – 720 metres

#1 Run Like Jess – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Coming off a Group Two Golden Sands campaign in Brisbane where he did everything right was just beaten by a better one in Mepunga Isla on the night.

Deb Coleman is busting to get him to the seven hundred, he’s been running on well at the back end of his 650 metre wins at Sale, should go forward and make play.

Race 5. 7.47PM Ladbrokes Paws of Thunder Heat 1 – 520 metres

#1 Incapacitated – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Going with the red for the fifth straight race with good reason the way this bloke has been going, a 29.66 win here three starts ago surrounded by form lines against gun youngster Wow.

Has only missed the money once from eight starts out of the red, won’t be a tearaway leader but doesn’t need to be with his strength and winning record at the track.

Race 6. 8.12PM Ladbrokes Paws of Thunder Heat 2 – 520 metres

#7 Wow – $1.75 – Bet @ Sportsbet

No hotter greyhound in New South Wales right now, is on a serious winning streak which doesn’t look like ending soon, has taken down Incapacitated, Fire Legend and Ebby Infrared in his last three wins.

He meets the latter again here who draws outside him in the eight, only way he loses is if he gets checked early but the way he springs the lids looks unlikely.

Race 7. 8.34PM Ladbrokes Paws of Thunder Heat 3 – 520 metres

#4 Fire Legend – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Lismore Cup Champion was beating whoever you put in front of him a couple of months ago, has risen a lot in grade in that time and hasn’t been as consistent but his best is still brilliant.

Can fire out of the four here and pounce on the lead with a 5.4 early section, prefer his experience at the track over Simon Told Helen box eight first up, the other danger Ad Astra is flying but prefers an outside draw.

Race 8. 8.59PM Ladbrokes Paws of Thunder Heat 4 – 520 metres

#8 Ava Wine – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

If this bitch can manage to box well from the eight she looks a huge show here on the back of a seven-length romp in the Middle-Distance Series final at Richmond.

Has only had the three starts here at the track but has put a win and a couple of minors on the board showing 5.5 speed early, she is a winner from box eight and will run over the top if she gets close.

Race 9. 9.18PM Wear Your Masks Inside Grade 5 – 520 metres

#3 Royal Emgrand – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Got a lot of time for this dog does it at both ends of his races quick out and strong home, can find a flat spot mid-race but comes again when he’s got a battle on his hands.

That has manifested into four wins at the track and finds an easier field without the likes of Unison or Lanmore Babe.

Race 10. 9.37Pm Keep Your Distance 1.5 Metres Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres

#2 Aston Sapporo – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been a machine here in the past churning out three wins all in sub thirty time, has been away racing over the short course for a while but finds a nice race here.

Early speed, box two and a vacant outside give him every chance to lead and add to his impressive fifteen-win career.
