Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 7.09PM GBOTA Welcome Grade 5 – 520 metres
#5 Dip It In – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has done most of hic racing at the provincials but was a brilliant 29.89 winner here last start bouncing to lead from box six, two out of three at the track.
The draw suits here if he’s able to cross Romantic Storm in the four who is strong but not fast early, improving type and a nice each-way quote for the inform Jack Smith kennel.
Race 2. 7.27PM Ladbrokes Back Yourself Grade 5 – 520 metres
#7 Fantastic Victor – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Developing into a track and trip specialist winning four of his seven starts here, was freshened up with a sprint win at Nowra before this and should be nice and sharp to beat this field out.
Has gone under 5.5 early here and although his box seven record isn’t great, he’s five from five in the eight and with not a great deal of speed outside should get all the favours from the draw.
Race 3. 7.50PM RACENET.COM.AU Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Bit Flash – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The twenty-two time winner is well past his prime when he was running 29.64 around here back in mid-2019, but he’s still racking up the victories at the provincials and looks well suited here.
Does most of his racing over the shorter trips now and the five hundred at Nowra, looks to have a good mix of speed and strength which should see him out well and on the bunny from the two.
Race 4. 8.13PM Men of League Foundation Non-Graded – 720 metres
#1 Cawborne Footrot – $1.35 – Bet @ Sportsbet
No prizes for putting this rising commodity on top at the skinny quote but if you’re playing multiples, he’s a must include shaping as far too classy for this field and he heads for bigger things.
Is one from one in good time at the track, should drive forward from box one and set the speed skipping away mid-race with his turn of foot, it should be times and margins here.
Race 5. 8.30PM Ladbrokes Switch Free for All – 520 metres
#3 Ritza Coen – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Race shapes as a three-way duel between, Aston Lee in the red, Ice Cream Story in the checks and the veteran of the bunch Ritza Coen in the three.
The one and the two have the long-time free for all dog covered for early pace and should clear out early presenting Ritza Coen with the ideal pocket to find a trail behind the leaders, he’s always charging home and as long as he’s not too far off them should gun them down.
Race 6. 8.49PM Get Your Name Here Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Coast Model – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Another exciting young Fernando Bale bitch from the Lord kennel who’s shown plenty over her seven starts, one of which resulted in a 30.20 win on debut here showing good muster off the mat for a comfortable win.
Up into fifth grade company is a rise but she’s continued to carry that form from her maiden win blitzing them at Goulburn and is a clear tenth quicker out of the lids than her nearest rivals, look for a new personal best.
Race 7. 9.09PM Sponsor a Race at Wenty Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#8 Shanjo Prince – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been stuck in top grade here for too long constantly running eye catching placings where he jumps out of the ground late just to miss out, from box eight in a fourth/fifth-grade field he’ll have every chance to get there in time.
Kurious Motion and others will get a fair head start on him, but he’s drawn ideally in the pink and will begin the circle the field mid-race and finish with an almighty burst.
Race 8. 9.32PM Ladbrokes Easy Form Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Candy Carrera – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
The daughter of Zambora Brockie has been a consistent performer here at headquarters over her career, four wins and five minors she’s always around the mark with her professional style of racing and this looks no different.
Can get to the first mark in 5.5, if she’s able to do that she’ll be mighty hard to beat a recent six hundred metre winner she runs out the trip and had dipped under thirty seconds here in the past.
Race 9. 9.53PM Live and Free at THEDOGS.COM.AU Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Mack Boy – $9.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Underrated in this field and with just two starts for a placing here at Wentworth Park could be a big improver if things go his way early from a reasonable draw in the three.
Has two moderate beginners drawn inside him and will get his chance to drive for the fence early, while favourites Ritza Daniel and Steel Pulse might bring each other undone at the jump, more than happy to take the odds.
Race 10. 10.17PM Where Else But Wenty? Masters – 520 metres
#1 Smoke Em’ – $2.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Hasn’t set the world on fire here with a fifth and third her last two starts, she was trapped wide on both occasions then and doesn’t have to tangle with the likes of a Sunburnt Highway.
Has done most of her winning from boxes one and two and gets her chance to show her expertise here against a field who are hardly in form.
