Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.29PM GBOTA Welcome Grade 5 – 520 metres

#4 Zipping Pearson – Bet @ Sportsbet

This bitch doesn’t normally go this long between wins but she has been racing in feature company and gets back to a grade where she’s won seven races at the track and trip.

Is known for flying the lids and a draw like box four actually helps her when her speed off sets the squeeze box there can be plenty of trouble behind.

Race 2. 6.49PM Ladbroke It! Grade 5 – 520 metres

#8 Miss Wanted – Bet @ Sportsbet

A young bitch on the rise boasting seven career wins from fifteen starts, four of them coming here at Wentworth Park in just seven attempts.

Is drawn a treat out here in the eight she’s never missed the money from the draw and with no other speed in the outside brigade cap whip across these early and run sub thirty.

Race 3. 7.09PM Cash Connect ATM Plus Grade 5 – 520 metres

#6 Calamity Ethics – Bet @ Sportsbet

Surprised to see her this quote after she put the writing on the wall last start finishing on the heels of the leader at a big price from box seven here last week, always making ground to the line.

Has won everywhere else she’s been expect Wenty and her mix of stamina and more importantly a growing field sense should take her a long way to getting the monkey off her back.

Race 4. 7.29PM Summer is for Racing Grade 5 – 520 metres

#2 Cawbourne Turvey – Bet @ Sportsbet

Tried her hand over the staying trip recently with mixed success, her engine didn’t quite run the full 720 metres but she ran a couple of bold thirds.

She was a bit flat first up over the sprint last start but should have some of that zip back in her legs here, she’s known for exploding soon after box rise, does need a touch of luck to the turn.

Race 5. 7.48PM Happy New Year 1-4 Win Grade 5 Final – 520 metres

#1 Yuko Girl – Bet @ Sportsbet

Looks a good thing and is priced accordingly, the jury was out until last start where she came to Wenty for the first time and blitzed them in 29.81.

She’s only lost one race in her six start career and she finished second, drawn the coveted rail here she should muster and put a times and margins job on this lot.

Race 6. 8.06PM Welcome to 2020 Non-Graded – 720 metres

#8 Super Estrella – Bet @ Sportsbet

One of the rare occasions last start she didn’t get far enough in front to win, but she was run down by one of the countries best stayers in Stanley Road.

Before that run had been taking all before here breaking track records across the state, bumps into a couple of serious Victorians here but both are first up and will need the run, look for her to ping and extend.

Race 7. 8.28PM Rooster’s Traffic Control Grade 5 – 520 metres

#2 Tachycardic – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has really turned the corner in his last five starts going from a promising talent to a fringe star finishing third in the Group One Megastar at Dapto.

Backed that form up by coming here and winning his second race at Wentworth Park, will be looking to hunt the rail here and although these dogs will test him is well in the market.

Race 8. 8.45PM Group Racing 14th, 15th, 22nd of January Mixed ¾ – 520 metres

#7 Coast Model – Bet @ Sportsbet

Was left to look a bit ordinary when paired up against eventual match race champion Zipping Kansas last start, but she still ran 29.80 and is a much better field bitch.

She’s been jumping the best she has in a while lately and with no speed influencers either side of her could carve across and stare down the leaders at the first turn.

Race 9. 9.07PM Ladbrokes Easy Form Grade 5 – 520 metres

#3 Elanda Bale – Bet @ Sportsbet

Not many of these win out of turn in this field including Elanda Bale, but the bitch has only has two goes here at Wenty and carries the best form by far in this race third behind Yuko Girl last start.

Showed good early dash before being tracked down last start and a look at the track for a second week running from a similar box should stand her in good stead.

Race 10. 9.27PM Ladbrokes Switch Grade 5 – 520 metres

#6 Heart Beat – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has been a tease here at headquarters just the one win from nine starts but six minors to boot, that win came just two starts ago from box eight and she almost repeated the dose with a strong second last week.

Has shown the capacity to run the trip in reasonable time and has won more than one career race, many of these have just one under their belt.

Race 11. 9.27PM Cheers to 2022 Masters 1/2/3 – 520 metres

#8 Classy Ethics – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has only just recently entered the masters bracket and may pose a real threat to Sunburnt Highway’s throne.

The former does it with speed but this bitch does it with sustained speed, she’s a Group One winner in Brisbane and while that was a long time ago she’s still got the capacity to give them a gap and run them down.
