Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.09PM NSW GBOTA Welcome Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Paul Keeping – $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
This Superior Panama/Shelley Keeping line has continued to produce good strong five hundred metre dogs and this chap looks no exception.
Has just started to put things together with his two career wins coming in his last three starts both at Dubbo, looks like he’ll enjoy Wentworth Park as long as he’s not shuffled back early will be coming with pace.
Race 2. 6.29PM Ladbroke It! Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Miss Wanted – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Very promising bitch who’s heading in the right direction, a winner of seven races overall four of them coming here at Wentworth Park where she continues to improve.
Ran a huge race from box eight almost closing down Tarawi Ted last week, that’s form that can stand up in a race of this nature.
Race 3. 6.52PM Group Racing at Wentworth Park Next Friday Grade 5 – 520 metres
#1 One Smart One – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has always been a model of consistency here at the track, three wins and nine minors to his name, but he’s been struggling to draw a box lately and having to settle for placings.
Hasn’t drawn inside box five his last five starts and has a much better career record from the red rug winning four races, he’s not been far off and this looks the race for him to breakthrough.
Race 4. 7.08PM Cash Connect ATM Plus Masters 1/2/3 – 520 metres
#8 Sunburnt Highway – $3.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Everytime you think this wonder of a dog is slowing down he comes out and wins another race, it was a typical gutsy win last week duelling out front and eventually getting the better.
He’ll have to begin slightly better than he has been posted in box eight this week, but everything he does is built around early speed and he shouldn’t have a problem leading here.
Race 5. 7.27PM Blink Print Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Savannah – $8.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Potential is endless for this bitch, she can mix her race form but her best is up to this and she has being winning albeit at Wagga in the lead up to this city debut.
The former Queenslander ran some scary first sectionals when debuting up there and if she pings will get a long way in front and take some tracking down.
Race 6. 7.47PM Rooster’s Traffic Control Grade 5 – 520 metres
#7 Fernando Hunter – $3.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Will really enjoy a return to Wentworth Park where he’d just found his feet before a shot at the stumps with Group Heats in Gosford.
Struck out there but is a massive chance if he can bounce back to his 29.92 winning form here, has always been a dog who can put himself in a race and won’t mind being drawn off the track.
Race 7. 8.09PM Vale Paul Bigeni Grade 4 – 520 metres
#2 Zipping Stewie – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Wonderful to see this talent back at Wentworth Park, has been off the scene a while and just building back up through distances, a last start free for all winner at Dapto.
Owns an outstanding record here winning half of his dozen race starts against some serious company, can do it by pinging or running on, has enough to get him over the line here.
Race 8. 8.33PM Summer is for Racing Non-Graded – 720 metres
#1 Stanley road – $1.85 – Bet @ Sportsbet
No prizes for picking this Group One and Sydney Cup winning star on top, his last start here was a few weeks ago but he went massive as always overcoming a tough draw to still surge away for a signature win.
Is drawn to order on the rail here and even though he’s had a bit of a freshen up he’s not the type of dog you worry about lacking seven hundred metre fitness, will take all the short cuts on his way home.
Race 9. 8.52PM Ladbrokes Switch Free for All – 520 metres
#7 Loui Wonton – $26 – Bet @ Sportsbet
He’s far better than a knockout hope here, was top stuff last week when he denied Zipping Pearson who was on his hammer from the outset and his first sectional will always put him in the race.
There are definitely going to be stronger dogs in the run to the line but at the price punters should have an investment with hope of an upset.
Race 10. 9.12PM Summer Racing Carnival at Wentworth Park Grade 5 – 520 metres
#1 Ruby Keeping – $1.80 – Bet @ Sportsbet
We tipped the litter mate on top earlier but this bitch looks the pick of that crop, four starts for four wins around Dubbo breaking the clock while she’s at it.
Can be a learning curve coming to the city but she finds a moderate race and should go straight to the front and win, Stanley Road/Ruby Keeping all up suggested.
Race 11. 9.28PM Ladbroke It! Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 San Polo – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Good to see this Northern Rivers dog back this week for another crack at that Wentworth Park win which he just missed out on last week.
He’s got plenty of muster and with no pace outside could shoot around them and get the fly on the first turn going one better.
