Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.09PM NSW GBOTA Welcome Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Here Comes Joe – $2.50 – Bet Now
Building quite a name for himself with a nine from fourteen strike rate, his one visit to Wentworth Park in January producing a 30.01 win with a quick first split.
The dog has only improved since then, he looks the genuine early speed in the race along with Lightning Vision, but on form you’ve got to stick with Here Come’s Joe.
Race 2. 6.28PM Congratulations Bryan Young Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Promising – $4.50 – Bet Now
Loves in here at Wentworth Park three wins from six starts and two minors, does his best work from inside draws with his early speed as well.
The challenge will come early, nothing can match him early drawn outside him but on his day Incapacitated in box one can really burn and drops in grade.
Promising looks the more attractive of the two with winning form on his side and they’ll be working overtime to catch him if he finds the front.
Race 3. 6.47PM Ladbrokes Multi Builder Grade 5 – 520 metres
#1 Ritza Fire – $6 – Bet Now
Progeny of Barcia Bale gets his chance here to turn around his Wentworth Park form where he’s zero from three from tough boxes, gets the red where he’s won multiple races from before and looks great value each way at $6.
Is a speedy type with wins a Bulli, Grafton and Goulbourn over the shorter courses and has q cuikest time of 29.84 winning over the 520 metres at Dapto, maps well.
Race 4. 7.05PM Ladbrokes Money Back Odss grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Fabulous Penny – $3.50 – Bet Now
Was shot out of a gun when leading a tougher field than this last week from box five, moves closer to the rail and looks like the one they’ll have to catch again.
Was run over the top of by Zipping Zeek, there’s no shame in that given his form.
A sixteen-time winner throughout New South Wales at Richmond, Nowra, Goulbourn and Dapto it looks time for her to notch a win at headquarters.
Race 5. 7.28PM Ladbrokes Magic Maiden Final – 520 metres
#6 Night Tracker – $8 – Bet Now
Only the one race to look at form from but it was a strong start for the son of Fernando Bale who despite only fairly away worked home really well behind fastest heat winner Mickey Sphere to run 30.36.
SP was $2.50 first start market support always a strong sign on debut, the punters look to have gone with the heat winners to take out this event but from a similar box if Night tracker stays safe early $8 is an excellent each way quote.
Race 6. 7.48PM Thank You Ladbrokes Stayers Non-Graded – 720 metres
#5 Blue Moon Rising – $2.50 – Bet Now
Can’t go past the old boy here, he’s been racing as well as ever over the sprint trip storming home from midfield to win three of his last five.
With the form he should be able to drive forward early and probably lead these, hasn’t been at the 720 metres for a while but is a recent 618 metre winner at Richmond and eleven-time winner at track and distance.
Race 7. 8.05PM Ladbrokes Thank You Owners Final Grade 5 – 520 metres
#6 Zipping Zeek – $3.50 – Bet Now
The strongest 520 metre dog going around in New South Wales currently if he can land midfield his last sectional is capable of running down some really classy dogs here.
Unison, Xerri and Ritza Gloria can all burn early, Zeek’s best chance is the field gets strung out he balances up and gets last crack at them.
It’s always a risk backing a dog who needs to run on but he’s been doing it so consistently have to give him the best chance.
Race 8. 8.27PM Ladbrokes Thank You Trainers Final Non-Graded – 525 metres
#6 Ritza Donald – $.3.50 – Bet Now
Winning form is good form and despite the races getting harder each week for Ritza Donald he just keeps on winning.
Relies heavily on his ability to fly the lids and he does it expertly from wide draws, it’s often to his benefit drawn a few off so he cuts off a few rivals on his way to the lead.
There is quality everywhere in this Free For All but Ritza Donald’s early dash and winning form gets him the nod.
Race 9. 8.50PM Thank You Health Workers grade 5 – 520 metres
#5 Hundred Degrees – $3.30 – Bet Now
Looks the strongest of three main chances here, doesn’t seem to be a lot of pressure drawn outside him is he can camp on likely leader Zipping Sheldon’s back his 525 metre Richmond form should come into play late.
Was beaten by Beau Herrera here a fortnight ago, Beau Herrera goes around in the Non-Graded event on this card, with clear running he’s the pick.
Race 10. 9.15PM Ladbrokes Odds Boost Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#3 Silver Heels – Bet Now
Another dog that has form lines around Zipping Zeek was only gunned down late by him last start and comes up against an easier field here.
Has been racing in Free For All company successfully at Dapto and is a four time winner at the track with a respectable 29.92 best and 5.59 early split which should see him on the pace running another bold race.
