Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.42PM GAP Online Adoption Day October 24th Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres
#2 Sovereign King – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Broke through at start four here for his first win at Wentworth Park last week breaking thirty seconds in the process, 29.97 from box four.
Has been a prolific winner everywhere else and is two from three from box two, should find the front and be the one to beat.
Race 2. 7.05PM TAB Million Dollar Chase Maiden – 520 metres
#6 Ice Cream Story – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Not a lot between a few of these who only have the one start and one win to their names, this bitch was as good as any going 30.09 on debut and gets the nod drawing box six for the second week running, she should get a good cart across.
Daughter of Fernando Bale out of the David Smith kennel all positives, watch the betting closer to the jump if there’s a push.
Race 3. 7.28PM TAB Young Star Final Non-Graded – 525 metres
#2 Chrissie Banner – $2.25 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Speed machine who wins her races at the jump, is just about as reliable as they come at box rise for a young bitch who’s broken thirty here on four occasions and finds a nice race here.
Only downside is you’d probably prefer her cutting a few off coming down from the outside, but she should still lead from the draw and notch a feature win.
Race 4. 7.50PM Thompson Building Services Grade 5 – 520 metres
#3 Kurious Motion – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Comes up a good price here only has the one win at the track but has six minors and has always been at the pointy end in good grade.
Doesn’t mind a middle box has won most of her races from the three, four and five, with all the favourites drawn out she gets the chance to go forward early from the draw.
Race 5. 8.12PM Watch Live Racing @ Thedogs.com.au Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Hundred Degrees – $4 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Sydney Swain continues to persist with his young chaser here at Wentworth Park, he’s shown flashes, but slow box manners have cost him in the past.
Apart from the red there aren’t many that will be burning early here, he should get a chance to balance up and get a clear run at it.
Race 6. 8.35PM TAB Masters Meteor Final M1/M2/M3 – 520 metres
#7 Nangar Kash – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looks a two dog race here, Sunburnt Highway and Nangar Kash are clearly the standouts, the latter gets the nod with the box draw, he should be coming across the face of his rival early and is a good chance to cut him off on his way to the front.
Time wise they are the only two who have been breaking thirty seconds if he can lead it could be over.
Race 7. 8.59PM Group Three Sydney Cup Final – 720 metres
#7 Sunset Bourbski – $2 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Huge effort here last week first up at the track got checked well back in the run and charged to within a length of Here’s Tears before running out of gas.
With even luck she should balance up closer to the speed and time her powerful run when it matters, she has the wow factor over Here’s Tears.
Race 8. 9.26PM TAB Million Dollar Chase Consolation – 520 metres
#4 Faithy Bale – $3.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Desperately unlucky to miss out on a spot in the final was charging late at Flying Ricciardo and missed by a nose, another run at the track for the Victorian will only help and she can get out quicker from box four.
Went 29.71 in defeat last week and anything quicker than that should see her winning.
Race 9. 10.03PM TAB Million Dollar Chase Grand Final – 520 metres
#8 Tommy Shelby – $2.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Was arguably the most dominant heat winner last week vicious acceleration out of the boxes and maintained the rage throughout the run on his way to a 29.58 win.
Box eight will make or break him here, has run 29.47 from the seven here but not in a Million Dollar Chase Final, he doesn’t have to lead them but if he can sit in the first three around the first corner he might just earn connections the million dollar prize.
Race 10. 10.35PM GRNSW Thanks all Participants Free for All – 520 metres
#5 Drink Moet – $5 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has been brilliant at the track for some time, rarely misses a place along with her four wins and finished third in her Million Dollar Chase heat last week.
Well balanced chaser that does it in all portions of racing, box five won’t bother her and the price looks generous.
