Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips
Race 1. 6.49PM GBOTA Free for All – 520 metres
#2 Winlock On Top – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has won just about everywhere he has been but most importantly has got it done four times here at Wentworth Park, a Free for All winner in 29.79 two stars ago from box one.
Is an expert at holding the rail, he won’t be pressured by Good Odds Harada and should cross Tennessee Tiger in box one and if he gets on the arm will prove very difficult to run down.
Race 2. 7.14PM Ladbrokes Switch Grade 5 – 520 metres
#2 Boomin’ Ethics – $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Versatile chaser with a good mix of speed and strength, will likely be headed by Jabeni early in box one who did win last week but fell in in the concluding stages.
Boomin, Ethics has won three times here his best performance a 30.09 effort from box two, he should find the rail behind the leader and get last crack at running over the top of this field.
Race 3. 7.34PM Winner Winner Mitch Barlow Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Strada – $3 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Only arrived from Victoria earlier this month and has showed plenty of promise in her first two starts in NSW a debut win at Wentworth Park in sub thirty seconds showing she has plenty of class.
Got no luck last time from a wide draw and was never in play, but with a 5.50 first split she is capable of getting to the front early here and should be stripping fitter with each run.
Race 4. 7.57PM Ladbrokes Back Yourself Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Saucy Smile – $8 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Has done all his racing here at track and trip, record and ability aren’t outstanding, but he knows his way around the place and a lot of his rivals have hardly seen the place.
If he can get a little bit of luck from the squeeze box early and land not too far off the pace he should start going through the gears mid-race and is well and truly capable of running a winning time in this company.
Race 5. 8.18PM Thanks Monique Montez Grade 5 – 520 metres
#7 Super Archie – $13 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Looms as the value bet of the program, his form is up and down but on his day he’s up to this Grade running 30.10 here in a narrow defeat earlier this month.
He led for a long way that night and was only gunned down close to home, he’s won from wide draws before and if he cuts and runs, he’ll take some beating.
Race 6. 8.39PM November Sponsorships Available Grade 5 – 720 metres
#2 Cawborne Footrot – $1.60 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Much anticipated debut for this two-year-old on the rise, has never been past six hundred metres but has been smashing the line at Dapto and out of the Andy and Jodie Lord kennel they know how to train a stayer.
He looks the obvious leader here and should get it all his own way out in front just has to run out the trip against a field of veterans.
Race 7. 9.00PM Gold Muzzle Auction Heat 1 – 520 metres
#5 Flying Ricciardo – $1.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet
No meat on the bone here about the Million Dollar Chase Final favourite, but he’s only lost three races in his seventeen-start career, oozes class and looks to have plenty on these.
Is lightning early and makes his own luck out on the bunny, Cawborne Footrot into Flying Ricciardo could be your play here to get a little more value.
Race 8. 9.20PM Gold Muzzle Auction Heat 2 – 520 metres
#2 Vamos Penny – $2.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Is second favourite behind Flying Ricciardo to take out this series, her record speaks for itself a five-time winner here from eleven starts has competed right up in the Grades and matched it with dogs a lot older than her, gets her chance to cash in now.
Loves a low box draw and should spear out and pounce on the front, a 29.72 best here should win this by a street.
Race 9. 9.29PM Where Else But Wenty? Grade 5 – 520 metres
#7 Furious Not Fast – $5.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Excellent price about this thirty-two start stalwart at the track, she’s raced in top company here for a long time but has recently been winning over the short course at Richmond, a good freshen up before her return to headquarters.
Takes a few strides but can muster rather quick and gets the cart across from Beau Herrera here, big chance.
Race 10. 10.02PM Ladbrokes Cash In Grade 5 – 520 metres
#4 Star Hotel – $2.30 – Bet @ Sportsbet
Comes to Wentworth Park for jus the second time in his career, ran a gallant third but has been a way honing his craft for a while and comes back a much better prospect.
Has continued to get stronger over the five hundred metres but hasn’t lost the early burn that’s seen him win nine of twenty races.
