Wentworth Park Greyhound Racing Tips

Race 1. 6.27PM Ladbrokes Peter Mosman Opal Heat 1 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#6 Chase Me Honey – $3.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet

This bitch is air borne at the moment knocking over three straight at Dapto before bringing that form to Wentworth Park in a great audition for this race last year.

She’s the price she is because of the box draw, she loves to come out and go left but she’s leaving so well I back her to clear them and find the front from box six.

Race 2. 6.49PM Ladbrokes Peter Mosman Opal Heat 2 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#3 Cawbourne Turvey – $3.20 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Punters will be holding their breath early with this bitch who can mix her box manners, but recent performances up over the 630 metres show she can make significant ground.

Has won multiple races here in the past including a 29.7 effort from a similar draw, if she gets around the first turn she’s every hope of reeling them in.

Race 3. 7.08PM Ladbrokes Peter Mosman Opal Heat 3 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#8 Lagoon Alaska – $10 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Have found one at very backable odds here, it’s a big class jump for this bitch, but she just might be up to it after a sighter at the track last week and terrific Gosford form.

She’s only won four races but three of them have come in her last four starts, she’s peaking at the right time to produce the race of her life here.

Race 4. 7.26PM Ladbrokes Peter Mosman Opal Heat 4 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#7 Good Odds Cash – $1.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has emerged as a Bonafede superstar in her time away from Wentworth Park, a fifteen-time winner taking track records and scalps for fun of late.

She was a star here already winning two races with a 29.7 best and has gone to the next level as a race bitch since then, expect her to come out humming and watch for times and margins.

Race 5. 7.45PM Ladbrokes Vic Peters Classic Heat 1 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#5 Billy Creek – $15 – Bet @ Sportsbet

The dog from the bush could produce a drum here, Miss Ezmae does her best work as a stayer but she’s still lightning early and this bloke too her down at Dubbo last start.

Jumps significantly to open grade but as long as he’s not overawed by the occasion has ability right up there with the best of these and can go forward from box five.

Race 6. 8.10PM Ladbrokes Vic Peters Classic Heat 2 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#3 Powder Finger – $4.50 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Ran into a hot one in Tarawi Ted here last start and gets the chance at redemption here as the two smart young pups meet again.

Powder Finger was drawn in the red last time which was a bit of a disadvantage to his rival giving him something to chase, he could put him in an awkward spot here if he comes out running from the three.

Race 7. 8.32PM Ladbrokes Vic Peters Classic Heat 3 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#6 Bandit Ned – Bet @ Sportsbet

Excuse the short quote but this dog is simply a beast, made it a perfect four from four track and trip last week coming out and running 29.55.

Some of his best performances have come from wide draws and fans could be in for something special if he finds the front and tests the clock.

Race 8. 8.52PM Ladbrokes Vic Peters Classic Heat 4 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#1 Aussie Cortis – Bet @ Sportsbet

This dog can’t stop winning at the moment, he was a two win dog before coming out on top in four of his last five with wins around the tight turns of Bulli and the larger expanses of Richmond.

Has showed a mixture of box manners and sustained speed in those races and confidence is a wonderful thing on the eve of his biggest test.

Race 9. 9.13PM Ladbrokes Vic Peters Classic Heat 5 Non-Graded – 520 metres

#1 Barton – Bet @ Sportsbet

Has the potential to be a box one bandit here, isn’t the best dog in the race that honour lies between Top Quality in five and Aston Barack in seven but given how they’re drawn they could be the undoing of each other.

Something from the inside quarter is going to get the fly, Barton is a proven winner off the inside and has won races here before.

Race 10. 9.32PM Cash Connect ATM Plus Grade 5 – 520 metres

#4 Hello Dream – Bet @ Sportsbet

Tackles some chases with almost one hundred less starts than him but the veteran is still going strong and with his experience over the shorts and the five hundred can reign supreme here.

Was a cracking winner at The Gardens two starts ago and backed it up with an impressive third at Wentworth Park, can begin better and win.

Race 11. 9.55PM Ladbrokes Bet Ticker Mixed 4/5 – 520 metres

#4 Royal Emgrand – Bet @ Sportsbet

Never the easiest watch here over the sprint at Wentworth Park but despite his tardy box manners has found the line first nine times here.

Will fall out and look to find the fence, relies heavily on rails runs but if they open up finds a way to get there in time.
