gobet ascot horse racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Ascot on Saturday, which includes 10 races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Western Australian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (14:09) Pepsi Plate (1000m)

#1 – All on Red

We’re backing All on Red to get back to winning form after struggling to fire last time out.

The two-year-old colt by Doubtland showed good speed early on when winning his first two races, and that form could return on Saturday.

2kg comes off his back to help with the weight.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (14:44) Tabtouch Westspeed Platinum (1000m)

#1 – Acorn

Acorn is already a two-time winner from four starts, including last time out at Belmont by a half-length.

The four-year-old son of Sessions paid $2.80 when scoring last start, and punters should expect shorter odds this time around.

William Pike riding only helps his chances of winning.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 3. (15:21) Strangelove BM72 (1000m)

#2 – Kay Tee Why

Kay Tee Why has plenty of ability with four wins and four placings from 10 starts, and his best form could return on Saturday.

The four-year-old son of Nicconi took on a good field last time out, so punters should expect a better effort this time around.

It’s another good ride for Pike, who could have a big day.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (16:01) Solo BM66 (2400m)

#5 – Western Lady

Western Lady is enjoying her work this preparation with four starts for two wins and two placings.

The Williams-trained mare runs some of her best races at Ascot, and this isn’t the hardest field she has ever faced.

Barrier two with a light weight should take her close.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (16:39) Mrs Mac's Handicap (1200m)

#5 – Ladies Pro

Ladies Pro looked good on debut before taking on some tough types and running well enough.

The three-year-old filly should return from a spell in good order, and she comes off a nice trial win at Lark Hill.

The booking of Pike is ideal, so money should come for her.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 6. (17:14) Kambalda Veterans 1MW (1200m)

#3 – First Beach

First Beach has been all around the mark throughout his career, including three wins and three placings from 11 starts.

The five-year-old son of Nicconi ran third when fresh up this preparation, and it shouldn’t take him long to win a race.

Barrier four gives him every chance in the run.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (17:49) City of Belmont Marjorie Charlston Classic (1200m)

#7 – Black Ora @ $3.70

Adam Durrant lines up Black Ora, who is the loose favourite to score her seventh race on Saturday.

The four-year-old mare by Playing God owns six wins and six placings from 16 starts, so the form is on the board.

Getting the inside draw with a light weight is enough to take her close.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (18:24) Bisley Workwear BM66 (1400m)

#9 – Searchin’ Times

Gunning for five consecutive wins is Searchin’ Times, who keeps stepping up to the plate and proving too good for them.

The three-year-old filly by Awesome Rock meets a tough field here, but she is weighted well with 54.5kg on her back.

Look for a betting push on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (19:00) Schweppes WATC Derby (2400m)

#7 – Wonderfully Made @ $2.05

Wonderfully Made destroyed them when scoring by 4.3 lengths last time out, which is the best form guide for this race.

The talented filly by Playing God owns four wins from eight starts, and she deserves to be the shortening favourite.

55kg on her back is enough to get her over the line.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 10. (19:30) Peters Investment 1MW (1600m)

#2 – Defending

Punters should get each-way odds for Defending, who won well two back before placing last time out.

The seven-year-old son of Oratorio is only a one-time winner at Ascot from 20 attempts, but that win came earlier this prep.

We expect his form to keep improving this season.

Stake: 1 Unit
