Ascot Racing Tips for Saturday, November 1st 2025

We have expert betting tips for racing at Ascot on Saturday, which includes 10 races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Western Australian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Ascot horse racing tips

Race 1. (14:44) Tabtouch Westspeed Platinum (1600m)

#2 – I’m Nipote

Boasting consistent form is I’m Nipote, who comes off three consecutive placings this preparation.

The five-year-old gelding by Gingerbread Man owns a win and a placing at Ascot, so having track experience adds to his appeal.

It’s not a strong field, and he could take advantage.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 2. (15:24) Morley Growers Market 1MW (2200m)

#6 – Argyle Star

Argyle Star comes off three consecutive wins, and although those wins came at Kalgoorlie, she can measure up to this level.

The seven-year-old mare is a two-time winner over the distance, and her recent success should boost her confidence levels.

Look for a betting push on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (16:04) Quayclean BM66 (1800m)

#6 – Wembanyama

Wembanyama is loving life recently with back-to-back wins at Ascot, and we’re backing him to win three on the bounce.

The five-year-old son of Dundeel has missed a win or placing only once from five starts, so he’s becoming a course specialist.

We expect shortening odds on race day.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 4. (16:48) MCA Polytrack 1MW (1500m)

#1 – Climb on Top

We’re putting Climb on Top on top, and he has been in good form this season with a win and multiple placings.

The six-year-old son of Demerit is a two-time winner at Ascot and a six-time winner overall, and he runs well with William Pike in the saddle.

Punters could get each-way odds, which are worth including in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (17:24) Mrs Mac's Handicap (1200m)

#7 – The Calabrese

It’s an even field, and looking to take advantage is The Calabrese, who comes off a tidy second placing at Ascot.

The four-year-old son of Per Incanto owns three second placings from three starts at Ascot, and he won his only second-up start.

Barrier 12 isn’t ideal, but his ability could take him close.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 6. (18:05) Tabtouch Prince of Wales Stakes (1000m)

#1 – Jokers Grin @ $1.70

Class is with Jokers Grin, who owns seven wins and two placings from 10 starts. He’s a smart type in the making, and he has over $2.4 million in the bank.

The five-year-old son of Maschino defeated Headwall at Ascot last time out, and that form has been franked with Headwall beating Lady Shenandoah this prep.

Take the short odds and include him in picks.

Stake: 5 Units

Race 7. (18:45) Drummond Golf BM72 (1000m)

#2 – Toropa

Toropa owns six wins and five placings from 13 starts, and she’s unbeaten in three fresh up starts.

The five-year-old daughter of Toronado loves to run, and she could sneak under the radar with bookmakers.

We’re including her in our picks in a tricky race.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (19:18) Tabtouch Placid Ark Prelude (1100m)

#10 – Elite Beau @ $2.60

Boasting two wins from three starts is Elite Beau, who was too good for them when scoring by 1.8 lengths last start.

The three-year-old colt by Brazen Beau paid $1.80 when scoring, and punters get better odds this time around in a harder race.

Having Pike in the saddle only adds to his appeal.

Stake: 2.5 Units

Race 9. (19:52) Asian Beau Stakes (1400m)

#7 – Cosmic Crusader @ $2.10

Cosmic Crusader made them look second rate last start, and he could be anything.

The five-year-old has won four on the bounce, including both starts at Belmont this prep, and he won by 8.5 lengths last start.

That’s tough to do at this level, so take the $2.10 before his odds shorten.

Stake: 4 Units

Race 10. (20:30) PKF Perth BM66 (1200m)

#8 – Jaz Session

Jaz Session owns five wins and six placings from 15 starts, so we’re going with a consistent runner on Saturday.

The five-year-old daughter of Sessions is good enough to cope with this good field, and getting barrier two is ideal.

Look for a betting push on race day as a guide.

Stake: 1.5 Units
