Boasting a race win is All on Red, who scored by two lengths at Ascot as a $5 chance.
The two-year-old son of Doubtland showed good speed throughout the race to score, and we’re backing him to remain unbeaten.
We expect money to come thick and fast when markets open.
Stake: 2.5 Units
First Encounter owns four wins from 13 starts, and he did enough fresh up to suggest that he’ll be tough to hold out.
The six-year-old son of Dundeel has yet to win or place in two attempts at Ascot. However, he was only 1.7 lengths away, and that’s a good form guide.
Punters should get each-way odds on race day.
Stake: 1 Unit
Gunning for three consecutive wins is Surfside Session, who won at Belmont before scoring at Ascot.
The four-year-old son of Sessions has yet to finish worse than third in five career starts, so punters get a consistent horse to back.
We’re happy to follow him until he shows otherwise.
Stake: 2 Units
Form is with Cavallo Red, who scored at Belmont two back, and something close to that should be good enough to win.
The six-year-old son of So You Think has yet to win in nine attempts at Ascot, but he has been awfully close with six placings.
He’s worth another chance in an even field.
Stake: 1 Unit
Rolling Ruler has had two starts at Bunbury for a win and a placing, and he could take that provincial form to Ascot on Saturday.
The son of Universal Ruler was only a nose away from being unbeaten last start. That was a tough effort in defeat, and it should win him some fans.
Look for each-way odds on race day.
Stake: 1 Unit
Boasting four wins and three placings from seven starts is Kay Tee Why, who won both starts this preparation.
He hasn’t put a foot wrong since making his debut, and although he will need luck from a wide barrier, he has enough speed to get the job done.
We expect plenty of money to come for him, so include him in picks.
Stake: 2.5 Units
Punters enjoy backing Antique Star, who owns a win and three second placings this preparation.
The five-year-old mare by Pierro comes off a tidy second placing at Ascot behind Emerald Trader, and she was a touch unlucky.
She is due another solid performance as an each-way hope.
Stake: 1 Unit
September Born didn’t do much wrong last campaign when posting two wins and a placing.
The Neville Parnham-trained runner scored at Ascot over 1400m two starts back, and he could find speed fresh up.
Getting the inside draw adds to our confidence.
Stake: 1.5 Units
King of Light won at $1.26 odds at Belmont last start before spelling, so he could be a smart type in the making.
The three-year-old son of Earthlight has yet to race at Ascot, but it’s a track he should enjoy, and Daniel Morton will have him ready to fire.
A betting push would be telling, so keep an eye on markets.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Kellora could cause a bit of an upset after coming off back-to-back placings at Belmont and Ascot.
He was a $31 chance last time out, so punters will get a good price, and he should get every chance in the run from the draw.
He’s good enough to give things a shake.
Stake: 1 Unit
