The Group 1 Schweppes Oaks should be a cracking contest and a field of 20 has accepted entry.

Australasian Oaks Form Guide & Tips
1. Fascino ($31) Bet Now
She hasn’t been running well this preparation after showing good form last campaign. Drawing barrier 16 doesn’t help and although she’s talented at best, we can’t have her in selections here.
2. Nudge (Best Each Way – $9) Bet Now
Chris Waller-trained filly finished fourth at Group 1 level last start and that form is going to stack up nicely.
Prior to that he finished gamely for third behind Shout the Bar, which is Group 1 form in Sydney.
$9 is a fair price from bookmakers.
3. Moonlight Maid (Best Roughie – $13) Bet Now
She looks a nice stayer in the making and rising to this distance helps. She ran fifth at Caulfield last start over the mile and rising to 2000m should help.
The daughter of Puissance de Lune has a nice future and punters are getting odds worth taking.
4. Asiago ($26) Bet Now
She has the ability to cause an upset in this race but her recent form has been a bit below her best.
James Cummings lines her up and she does own five wins from 13 starts, so the experience is there.
5. Vegas Jewel ($8.50) Bet Now
Vegas Jewel shouldn’t be forgotten about despite some poor form this preparation. Those runs came over unsuitable distances and rising to 2000m helps.
She’s shortening in the betting and that’s not surprising.
6. La Falaise ($51) Bet Now
Her recent form isn’t worth considering and she should struggle to keep up with many of these. We wouldn’t recommend backing the daughter of Canford Cliffs.
7. Betcha Flying ($8.50) Bet Now
Betcha Flying is backing up after winning at Flemington last Saturday. It’s not easy to go back-to-back but Waller has her running well and she could go close.
$8.50 is a touch short but she will battle on gamely.
8. Wings of Pastrami ($18) Bet Now
She ran consecutive second placings before running fourth behind Silent Sovereign last time out. There’s not much wrong with that form and she’s a local runner with a chance.
$18 is a good price from bookmakers and punters will likely back her in.
9. Toffee Tongue (Best Bet – $7) Bet Now
Toffee Tongue chased home Colette twice this season when being runner up in consecutive races, including the Group 1 Australian Oaks.
It’s cracking form coming into this race and although she has yet to post a win, it’s only a matter of time.
$7 is a good price and we’re confident of her chances.
10. Silent Sovereign ($8.50) Bet Now
The daughter of Dalakhani won by a half-length at Morphettville last start and it should be a good form guide for this race.
Money has come in the early betting markets and she’s going to enjoy the rise in distance. $8.50 is a touch short for our liking but we wouldn’t be leaving her out.
11. Selica ($19) Bet Now
She finished second behind Silent Sovereign last start and there is some margin between them in the betting.
Drawing barrier 15 doesn’t make it easy but if there’s a blowout chance, she could be the one.
12. Beauty Bolt ($26) Bet Now
It was a nice win fresh up at Sandown but she didn’t fire in the heavy conditions at Caulfield last start.
A better track should see her run better but there are some tough types in this race and she could struggle.
13. Sierra Sue ($21) Bet Now
She has recorded three wins from four starts and it’s tough to discount that form. Those wins have all come at Sale in easier grades, but keep her in mind for first-four selections.
14. Affair to Remember ($5) Bet Now
The current favourite after winning at Sandown two starts back and following that up with a third behind Florent at Caulfield.
We are surprised at how short she is in betting. We expected a price around $8, so the $5 isn’t a price we would recommend taking.
15. Zayydani ($41) Bet Now
Handy effort in rating 78 grade last start. The form out of that race should stack up well but we don’t think she’s an Oaks type.
16. Walking Flying ($31) Bet Now
Getting close to a win after consecutive third placings, but the odds aren’t appealing. We would need $40 to entertain her chances.
17. November Dreaming ($19) Bet Now
She’s a consistent type that deserves a chance. Danny O’Brien is training well this season and he could pull the right strings here.
The $19 shouldn’t be overlooked.
Don’ttelltheboss – $71
Realm of Flowers – $34
Miss Harriette – $81
