Belmont horse racing tips
Race 1. (13:42) Free Entry to Belmont Park Maiden (1000m)
#10 – Petite La Femme – Bet Now
The four-year-old mare has placed in three of her four starts and there is plenty to like about that record.
She ran only 1.5 lengths behind the winner at Belmont last time out and it’s only a matter of time before she wins her maiden.
Drawing barrier 13 hurts but punters could get value odds.
Race 2. (14:22) Tabtouch Westspeed 0MW (1200m)
#2 – Bedouin Belle – Bet Now
Bedouin Belle is a consistent mare that has finished in the money in 11 of her 19 starts. Her record includes three wins and she has yet to miss a placing at Belmont.
The five-year-old mare wasn’t far behind the winner at Belmont last start and she should build nicely on that effort.
It is an even field and her chances of winning appear strong.
Race 3. (15:02) Happy 30th Beau Plate (1400m)
#6 – Castillo Del Lago – Bet Now
The three-year-old gelding has been in good form this campaign, which includes a win and a placing.
He scored by four lengths at Northam two starts back and he followed that up with a solid second placing last month.
He should improve with more racing under his belt and drawing barrier three is ideal.
Race 4. (15:42) Ngawyni Stakes BM78 (1400m)
#6 – Massimo – Bet Now
Massimo is a consistent four-year-old gelding that owns five wins and seven placings from 15 starts.
The son of Sessions wasn’t far behind the winner at Belmont last start and this is a track where he has missed a placing only once.
He has more upside than most in this race and he deserves another chance.
Race 5. (16:18) Happy Birthday Robyn BM70 (1600m)
#3 – Fuhrer – Bet Now
Fuhrer has been in work for some time now but the son of Universal Ruler continues to run solid races.
He is coming off a win at Belmont where he scored by 3.4 lengths and that form is tough to overlook this Saturday.
Having another run on this track is ideal and dropping in weight from 61.5kg to 58kg is an ideal situation for this race.
Race 6. (17:00) Bernard Couch Memorial BM66 (1200m)
#9 – Leading Girl – Bet Now
Leading Girl has made a positive start to her career with three wins and two placings from six starts.
The Williams-trained five-year-old has been patiently handled throughout her career and she could make a winning return here.
She gets the inside draw with a light weight, so put her on top.
Race 7. (17:35) Seppelt Wines BM72 (1000m)
#5 – Money Matters – Bet Now
Money Matters ended his last campaign in style with a win at Ascot and that form bodes well for a race like this.
The son of Canford Cliffs is a five-time winner from only nine starts and he has been primed with a recent trial success at Lark Hill.
He owns a win on this track and he could add another this time around.
Race 8. (18:10) Amelia Park 1MW (1400m)
#6 – Dark Mission – Bet Now
Dark Mission finished fifth last start but she was only 2.6 lengths behind the winner and she deserves another chance.
She looked good prior to that when scoring at Belmont and a repeat of that effort would see her taking out this contest.
It is a tough race so she needs luck from the draw, but include her in selections.
Race 9. (18:50) Crown Towers 1MW (2100m)
#3 – Queen Takes King – Bet Now
The four-year-old mare by Charm Spirit is a three-time winner already and she could add another win to her record.
She was too good for them at Belmont last start, scoring by 1.3 lengths and she owns two wins from three starts at Belmont.
It bodes well for another good run and she should prove tough to stop.
