Race 1. (14:14) Ascend Sales Trophies (1000m)
#1 – Revitup – Bet @ Neds
The two-year-old filly owns four wins and three placings from seven starts, so she’s the class act of the field.
She was beaten by Aztec Ruler last time out at Belmont but she was a narrow margin behind the winner, so she could bounce back.
Watch for any late betting moves.
Race 2. (14:53) Tabtouch Better Your Bet 1MW (1000m)
#4 – State of Power – Bet @ Neds
State of Power is knocking on the door of a win after three consecutive placings on the track.
The three-year-old filly has already had 16 starts for three wins and six placings, so she’s fit and ready to produce the goods.
Look for a betting push on race day.
Race 3. (15:33) Tabtouch Westspeed (1200m)
#8 – Bread to Flirt – Bet @ Neds
Bread to Flirt comes off a win at Belmont by a length and she runs her best races on the track.
The four-year-old mare by Gingerbread Man is always around the mark and she’s good enough to win back-to-back races on the track.
Carrying 55.5kg is ideal, so keep her safe.
Race 4. (16:09) Vale Bob Weston BM66 (2100m)
#1 – Reliable Star – Bet @ Neds
Reliable Star was good enough to score back-to-back wins earlier this preparation and anything close to that form is good enough.
The Adam Durrant-trained four-year-old is a three-time winner at Belmont and this race is there for the taking.
We expect bookmakers to have her firm in markets.
Race 5. (16:43) Free Entry to Belmont BM69 (1400m)
#4 – Frigid – Bet @ Neds
Frigid is a three-time winner from four starts, including all three runs at Belmont.
The three-year-old filly by Frosted scored by a length last time out and we like her chances of winning again.
Drawing wide isn’t ideal but her class should take her close.
Race 6. (17:20) Amelia Park BM72 (1400m)
#7 – Blazing Away – Bet @ Neds
Blazing Away is another runner who enjoys racing at Belmont with two wins from five attempts.
The four-year-old son of City Place was a narrow margin from winning last time out and he should have enjoyed the spell.
Getting barrier three with only 54kg on his back brings him into contention.
Race 7. (17:50) Crown Perth 1MW (1400m)
#6 – Savanik – Bet @ Neds
Savanik is a course specialist at Belmont with six starts for a win and three placings, including a win earlier this month.
The four-year-old daughter of Savabeel is a four-time winner overall and she will enjoy getting some weight off her back.
Punters typically get each-way odds.
Race 8. (18:20) H.G. Bolton Sprint (1200m)
#5 – Hot Zed – Bet @ Neds
Hot Zed is better for the fresh up run at Belmont and he should be harder to beat this time around.
The four-year-old is a five-time winner over the sprinting distance and his class should take him close against this level of opposition.
Punters should get value odds with bookmakers.
Race 9. (19:00) Schweppes BM66 (1200m)
#4 – Mercanto – Bet @ Neds
Mercanto won earlier this preparation and Belmont and he could get back to his best form.
The four-year-old gelding is a four-time winner over the distance and he should be tough to beat in these conditions.
Juicy odds should be available on race day.
