Belmont Racing Tips for Saturday, June 27th 2026

We have expert betting tips for racing at Belmont on Saturday, which includes eight races at the premier meeting.

Race 1. (14:39) Swan Draught Plate (1000m)

#1 – Morning Thunder @ $2.05

Morning Thunder did well to win on debut at Ascot, and he could resume with another winning performance.

The two-year-old colt by Hanseatic scored by two lengths before spelling, and that’s often the makings of a good horse.

William Pike rides, which adds to our confidence.

Race 2. (15:18) Drummond Golf Handicap (1000m)

#1 – Xentaro @ $5.00

Xentaro has excellent form this preparation with three wins, and two of those wins came at Belmont.

The three-year-old son of Nicconi owns five wins from 12 starts, and all five wins came over the short course distance.

The $5 odds are worth including in picks.

Race 3. (15:53) Mrs Mac's BM72 (1200m)

#7 – Yorga Pride @ $3.50

Yorga Pride is a quality type, and she only needs to get her confidence back to put this field away.

She won five of her first six starts before taking on tough opposition, and she should find this more to her liking with Pike riding.

Class takes her a long way, so she can’t be left out.

Race 4. (16:45) Tabtouch Westspeed Winter Series Final (1400m)

#2 – Rainline @ $6.50

Rainline was only a half-length behind the current $1.70 favourite last start, and she could turn the tables.

The four-year-old mare by Rommel will need to improve to win, but she has been consistent this season, and she draws one inside the favourite.

We prefer the $6.50 odds compared to the $1.70 for Mt Shirataku.

Race 5. (17:15) Peters Investments 1MW (1200m)

#4 – Searchin’ Times @ $5.50

Searchin’ Times couldn’t make it five straight wins last time out, but she didn’t get all favours early in the run.

The three-year-old filly by Awesome Rock is unbeaten in two starts at Belmont, and getting back to this track helps her chances.

The odds are better than expected from bookmakers.

Race 6. (17:45) WA Racehorse Owners’ Association BM66 (2100m)

#5 – Antique Queen @ $2.30

Looking to get back to winning form is Antique Queen, who won at Belmont two back with an impressive effort.

The five-year-old didn’t fire last time out behind Simply Thinkin’, but the form out of that race holds up well at BM66 grade.

The odds tell the story, so include her in multis.

Race 7. (18:22) Liquor Barons BM66 (1400m)

#5 – Territory Man @ $2.20

Raw ability is with Territory Man, who made it three wins from seven starts last time out at Belmont.

The four-year-old gelding has yet to finish worse than third at the track, and all three wins came over 1400m.

Everything points towards another top effort on Saturday.

#2 – Snippy Which @ $7.00

Punters get each-way odds for Snippy Which, who is a 10-time winner with class his side.

The five-year-old comes off a win at Belmont, and we thought he would be shorter in betting markets based on that performance.

3kg comes off to help, so include him for value.
