Belmont horse racing tips

Race 1. (13:57) Tabtouch Westspeed 0MW (1400m)

#3 – I’m Pretty – Bet @ Sportsbet

I’m Pretty is a five-time winner that has two wins at Belmont and three wins at the distance.

The five-year-old mare comes off a trial win at Lark Hill and she doesn’t often need much time to find her best form.

Having William Pike in the saddle is ideal and she looks the goods.

Race 2. (14:37) Old Mate’s Sports Bar BM62 (1000m)

#1 – Madam Torio – Bet @ Sportsbet

The three-year-old filly owns five wins from 11 starts and three of those wins have come at Belmont.

She is a daughter of I’m All The Talk that scored all five wins at the distance and she’s a real speedster. That bodes well for this race and we wouldn’t be backing against her.

3kg comes off her back and punters could get value odds.

Race 3. (15:17) Amelia Park Plate (1000m)

#5 – Bopping Blue – Bet @ Sportsbet

Bopping Blue was disappointing on debut when finishing seventh, but he is better for the run.

The Adam Durrant-trained two-year-old was coming off a trial win at Lark Hill and it’s good to see William Pike sticking with him.

Watch the tote for a betting move.

Race 4. (15:57) Crown Perth BM78 (2200m)

#2 – Adornment – Bet @ Sportsbet

The Durrant-trained five-year-old is a five-time winner from 23 starts and she has quality on her side.

She has yet to race at Belmont, but she is a two-time winner at the distance and it’s another good ride for William Pike.

Barrier five is ideal and her last-start win at Ascot is a good form guide.

Race 5. (16:40) Free Entry to Belmont BM66 (1000m)

#7 – Amasenus – Bet @ Sportsbet

Amasenus comes off three consecutive wins and although yet to win at Belmont, she is well worth following.

The daughter of Time for War scored by a length last time out and she looks likely to rise through the grades.

Barrier 10 isn’t ideal but she could find pace from a wide barrier and kick away for a win.

Race 6. (17:15) Bluestone 1MW (1600m)

#5 – Tri For Us – Bet @ Sportsbet

The Durrant-trained three-year-old filly owns three wins and two second placings from five starts, so she has every chance once again.

She is a daughter of Vital Equine that is still in her first campaign and she could remain unbeaten at Belmont.

Barrier two is ideal and we’re not expecting a big price from bookmakers.

Race 7. (17:50) Raconteur Stakes (1400m)

#7 – Graceful Girl @ $2.70 – Bet @ Sportsbet

Form is with Graceful Girl, which owns three wins and three placings from six starts, so she could have the class edge.

The three-year-old daughter of Nicconi comes off a win at Belmont where she scored by a length and carrying 54kg on her back is ideal.

It’s another good ride for William Pike and money has come throughout the week.

Race 8. (18:20) Furphy BM72 (1200m)

#2 – Magniforce – Bet @ Sportsbet

Magniforce comes off three consecutive wins, including one at Belmont Park last time out. He scored by a nose and he showed good speed in front.

The Tasker-trained five-year-old is a four-time winner at this distance and drawing barrier seven should see him right in the finish.

Punters should get each-way odds.

Race 9. (18:50) Cool Ridge BM66 (1400m)

#2 – Cousin Ivan – Bet @ Sportsbet

Cousin Ivan is a two-time winner from eight starts and both wins came at Belmont, so he has to be respected at this level.

The four-year-old son of Fiorente comes off an unsuccessful campaign with no wins, but he is a past winner fresh up and we’re expecting a nice effort.

Each-way odds will be available.
