Race 1. (13:25) Ladbrokes Big Bets Maiden (1500m)
#8 - Couldthisbetheone

Couldthisbetheone is getting close to posting a win after consecutive placings, and this isn’t an overly strong betting field.
The three-year-old colt by Ilovethiscity ran second at Pakenham before placing at Mornington, which are good form guides for this race.
We’re happy to include him in picks in the opener.
Stake: 1 Unit
Race 2. (14:00) Lincoln Lifestyle Huntly Maiden (1000m)
#4 - Above Me

Above Me has been right around the mark in all three career starts, including a third placing at Seymour on debut.
The Matt Laurie-trained mare is bred to be better than average at this level, and it’s only a matter of time before she breaks maidens.
Barrier four is ideal, and she should be right in the finish.
Stake: 1.5 Units
Race 3. (14:35) Bendigo Mazda BM64 (1100m)
#2 - Street Artist

Street Artist was too good for them at Mornington last start, breaking maidens by 4.8 lengths in easy fashion.
That was an impressive victory from the three-year-old son of Super Seth, who has been building nicely since making his debut at Flemington.
Another win is likely, so take the odds available.
Stake: 3 Units
Race 4. (15:10) Dearaugo and Lea Electrical Maiden (1300m)
#13 - Tanana

Tanana looked good either side of a spell with consecutive placings, including a third placing at Ballarat fresh up.
The five-year-old mare by Almanzor comes from the red-hot Hayes stable, and they should get the best out of her on Sunday.
Natural improvement should be enough to take her close.
Stake: 1 Unit
Race 5. (15:45) Bendigo Skin Clinic Maiden (1300m)
#2 - Casual Ghia

Casual Ghia wasn’t far away when fourth fresh up at Mornington, and this level of racing should be right up his alley.
The three-year-old hasn’t been too far away to date, and he was considered good enough to run at Caulfield last prep.
Look for a betting push on race day.
Stake: 1 Unit
Race 6. (16.20) Smartloans Bendigo BM66 (1300m)
#5 - Fridge Monster

Fridge Monster has been running hot this preparation, posting wins at Cranbourne and Mornington.
The five-year-old son of Overshare owns three wins and seven placings overall, so he has been around the mark throughout his career.
This race isn’t too deep, so he could take advantage.
Stake: 2 Units
Race 7. (16.55) Budget Car & Truck Hire BM66 (1500m)
#8 - Quello Dorato

Quello Dorato has been a model of consistency this preparation, posting two wins and two placings from his last four starts.
The five-year-old son of Trapeze Artist owns two wins and four placings from seven starts, so it’s tough to pick holes in his form.
Barrier 15 doesn’t make it easy, but he’s a good chance with cover.
Stake: 1 Unit
Race 8. (17.30) Bendigo Locksmiths BM66 (1100m)
#6 - Innocent Enuff

Innocent Enuff looked good when winning consecutive races before scoring back-to-back placings at Ballarat and Morphettville.
The six-year-old mare by Rich Enuff loves running over the distance, and it’s good enough to run another solid race at each-way odds.
It’s a tough field, but he has upside.
Stake: 1 Unit
