gobet caulfield racing tips

We have expert betting tips for racing at Caulfield on Saturday, which includes 10 races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (12:05) National Make Good Solution BM74 (2000m)

#11 – Mr Bannoch @ $5.50

Punters get each-way odds for Mr Bannoch, who won well two starts back at Pakenham before battling on well for third at Caulfield.

Having recent experience on the track adds to his appeal, and he gets 3kg off his back, taking his weight down to 53kg.

He should be competitive at the weights, so take the each-way odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 2. (12:35) Wagstaff Group BM70 (1200m)

#2 – Ka Ying Cheer @ $4.80

Ka Ying Cheer is unbeaten in three Australian starts since arriving from Hong Kong, and he could keep that form going.

The six-year-old son of Reward for Effort won at Caulfield last time out with a good display of running, so that bodes well for this race.

He gets 3kg off his back to help with the big weight.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 3. (13:10) Next Payments Redoute’s Choice Stakes (1200m)

#6 – Gin Twist @ $4.00

Gin Twist has taken on some tough types throughout her career, and although the beaten favourite last start, she didn’t enjoy the heavy surface.

She won well two back at Flemington in better conditions, and the two-year-old filly by Home Affairs runs at value each-way odds.

She draws well in barrier five, so expect her to finish off nicely.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 4. (13:45) Sportsbet Up & Coming Stars C3 (1400m)

#13 – Dirty Look @ $2.80

Dirty Look made solid ground from the back of the field behind Gold Coast Belle last start, which should be a good form guide.

The three-year-old filly by Super Seth should get a better speed up front, which could enable her to finish off stylishly late.

55kg on her back is ideal, and the early money has come for her.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (14:20) Summit Concepts Merchandise BM74 (1400m)

#13 – Gold Coast Belle @ $3.30

Dirty Look could frank the form of Gold Coast Belle, who got the better of her last time out at Sandown.

The Danny O’Brien-trained filly faces more depth in this field, but we liked the way she found the line strongly to win, and we were on her that day.

Mark Zahra rides, which adds to our confidence levels.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (14:55) Assured Insurance Brokers BM100 (1200m)

#3 – Pondalowie @ $4.40

Pondalowie will need some luck from the draw, but the five-year-old mare will likely drop back and look to finish powerfully.

The daughter of Deep Field owns two placings from six starts at Caulfield, and there is no standout bet in this race, so we’re taking the value around her.

She doesn’t always get much luck but today could be the day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:35) Manhari Galilee Series Final (2400m)

#1 – Single Choice @ $2.50

We expect money to come for Single Choice, who won well at Caulfield two back before running fifth behind Roulette King last start.

That should be a good form guide for the three-year-old son of Anders, who should relish the rise in distance to 2400m.

Jamie Mott is a strong rider, so include him in horse racing multi bets.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 8. (16:15) Thoroughbred Club Anniversary Vase (1600m)

#9 – Merrigold @ $6.50

Punters keep getting value odds for Merrigold, who was too good for them last week at Caulfield.

The five-year-old mare by Gold Standard owns nine wins and eight placings from 31 starts, and her best form comes at Caulfield.

She’s an underrated type, and getting in with 54kg is ideal.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 9. (16:50) GMH Fire & Safety Australia Handicap (1200m)

#6 – Oliveanotherday @ $1.95

Oliveanotherday justified the $1.40 odds when winning at Caulfield last start, and he could do the same again on Saturday.

The progressive gelding made it three wins from five starts with a 3.3-length win, and that should be the best form guide for this race.

He gets the inside draw, so take the odds before they shorten.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 10. (17:25) Ern Jensen Funerals Pinder Family BM74 (1600m)

#2 – King of the Sea @ $8.50

King of the Sea looks to make a winning debut in Australia after scoring three consecutive wins in Europe.

The Ciaron Maher-trained four-year-old won by 5.5 lengths last time out before winning a trial at Caulfield, so the form checks out.

Look for him to make an early impression in Australia.

Stake: 1.5 Units
