Caulfield Heath Racing Tips for Saturday, August 8th 2026Ended

We have expert betting tips for racing at Caulfield Heath on Saturday, which includes nine races at the premier meeting.

Punters get good value odds for the Victorian meeting, and we have betting tips for every race on the card.

Race 1. (12:20) The Valley at Caulfield Handicap (1200m)

#1 - Rich on Bubbles @ $8.50

BET NOW

Rich on Bubbles didn’t fire in Group 1 company last time out, but he deserved a spell after winning his previous three starts.

The three-year-old son of Capitalist has stakes form, and although this is a tough field, he’s the runner they must beat.

We expect his odds to firm late, so take the current offering.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (12:55) Ladbrokes Big Bets Copy Now BM70 (1500m)

#11 - Celtics @ $2.45

BET NOW

Looking to cap off consecutive second placings is Celtics, who placed at Caulfield on both occasions.

He’s having his first run at Caulfield Heath, but it’s a similar track, and the four-year-old son of I Am Invincible could make it a winning track debut.

It’s an even field, so he’s worth including in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 3. (13:30) Sweeney Estate Agents BM100 (1000m)

#5 - Bazaball Rewarded @ $4.40

BET NOW

We love betting on Bazaball Rewarded, and dropping to 53kg is enough to take her close against a tough field.

She appears to have enough speed to handle this field despite finishing seventh last start, but that came in Group 3 company, and she didn’t get all favours in the run.

She’s a gun with a light weight, and 1000m is up her alley.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (14:05) Drummond Golf BM74 (1600m)

#6 - Jenni Multabella @ $4.50

BET NOW

Looking for back-to-back wins is Jenni Multibella, who defeated a similar field as a $9 chance at Sandown.

The five-year-old mare by Ace High is bred to kick on with it, and she hasn’t done much wrong in five career starts, including two wins and two placings.

She is a runner worth backing in another even betting affair.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 5. (14:40) Sungold Milk BM74 (1100m)

#6 - High on the Hill @ $4.40

BET NOW

Ciaron Maher lines up High on a Hill, who comes off a brief spell having finished fifth at Flemington in June.

The four-year-old son of Wootton Bassett is a two-time winner from six starts, and he has shown good toughness throughout.

That could be a key asset in this race, so he’s worth backing.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (15:20) MSC Signs BM88 (1200m)

#1 - Great Maximus @ $17.00

BET NOW

Great Maximus has been facing tough fields, including running behind Piastri last time out, who he again faces here.

He can turn the tables on Piastri, and although carrying 60kg isn’t easy, the six-time winner has plenty of class on his side.

The wetter the better, so his odds could firm if the rain comes.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 7. (15:55) Bottle Shop BM74 (1800m)

#2 - Madero @ $12.00

BET NOW

Madero is on the quick back-up following a fourth at Flemington last Saturday and form out of that race should hold up well.

The five-year-old son of Lope de Vega should be fitter for three runs this preparation, and rising to 1800m suits his style.

We expect another tidy effort from the former European.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:35) Ranvet Travis Harrison Cup BM100 (1800m)

#3 - Glory Daze @ $11.00

BET NOW

Glory Daze looked good when scoring at Rosehill two starts ago before finishing sixth at Flemington last time out.

The Maher-trained eight-year-old is good enough to beat fields of this nature, and dropping in distance could help sharpen him up.

The odds make him a worthwhile inclusion.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (17:05) Ladbrokes Mega Multi BM84 (1500m)

#8 - Changing Colours @ $2.30

BET NOW

We liked the way Changing Colours changed gears to win at Flemington by two lengths last start, and she could be set for another win.

The six-year-old mare got a good trip in transit before putting them away late, and she has yet to finish worse than second in two runs at Caulfield Heath.

We expect another good run, so include her in horse racing picks.

Stake: 1 Unit
