Coolmore Legacy Stakes Form Guide & Tips
Alizee (Best Bet – $5) Bet Now
Disappointing effort for 17th in the Doncaster Mile but she wasn’t suited at the weights and in the wet conditions.
The soft track should suit better and although she now has some queries hanging over her head, we can’t pass up the odds on offer.
Prompt Response ($11) Bet Now
Two good efforts this campaign behind Trapeze Artist and Winx. Tough to line up that form against this field but she has improving since joining Waller’s stable.
Chance and punters are getting good odds.
Daysee Doom ($18) Bet Now
Good run behind Invincible Gem last start but we’re not sure if that’s the best form race for this.
Drawing wide won’t help and we’re prepared to overlook its chances.
Dixie Blossoms (Best Roughie – $11) Bet Now
Big effort in the Doncaster to run sixth after making good ground from the back. She’s in good form this campaign and with a recent win under her belt, she should go close here.
A double-figure price is worth taking.
Invincible Gem ($20) Bet Now
Took an age to win her sixth career start last time out but she doesn’t have that explosive turn-of-foot she once had.
Might be able to grind away on the pace from a good barrier.
Oregon’s Day ($20) Bet Now
Too good to rule out and her run for sixth last time out wasn’t overly bad behind Dixie Blossoms.
She loves to use the rail and drawing barrier one is going to allow her to find a good spot and kick nicely in the straight.
Unforgotten ($10) Bet Now
Backed in from $16 to $9.50 on the back of an average showing in the Doncaster Mile. Punters have been burned this season and we won’t be touching those odds.
Consensus ($27) Bet Now
Kiwi runner which won the Group 2 Sunline Stakes last start. That was a big win for connections, who raced Sunline and although she’s in form, she needs a good track.
Might battle away from a top five finish.
Eckstein ($61) Bet Now
Capable of causing an upset but she’s out of form her last couple and we can’t see her turning that form around in time.
Princess Posh ($35) Bet Now
Impressive winner three back at Newcastle but she struggled last time out. That came in a small field so a return to a big field could help.
A better form guide was her third placing behind Dixie Blossoms at Rosehill.
Sedanzer ($23) Bet Now
Fourth behind Invincible Gem last start but she hasn’t been winning much recently and we’d need to see some improvement.
Odds are slightly too short.
Spanish Reef ($23) Bet Now
Beaten by Consensus at Moonee Valley last start and we’re not sure if that’s the best form guide for this.
Doesn’t mind the track conditions, however, so consider.
Kenedna ($27) Bet Now
Not the most consistent type running around but that was a nice effort last start and she could build on that.
Unlikely to win however.
Dyslexic ($41) Bet Now
Has been backed and beaten this campaign and we’re not sure why the money was on in the first place.
Out to better odds here but she would need to improve to take this out.
Miss Siska ($31) Bet Now
Impressive winner at Bendigo last start but form from that meeting is unlikely to stack up in the Coolmore Legacy.
One for the future but not just yet.
Amphitrite (Best Each Way – $9) Bet Now
More than capable three-year-old which gets in with a good weight and every chance to win.
The Lindsay Park-trained runner has Group 1 experience and although beaten last start, that came in the All-Star Mile, which has been a good form guide this season.
Fundamentalist ($15) Bet Now
Fundamentalist is a nice filly, but has won only two from 17 starts. She needs to start winning more often to be considered a winning hope.
Nakeeta Jane ($8.50) Bet Now
Plenty of hype surrounding this filly early on but she was disappointing last time out. We’re not sure where to place her but it wouldn’t be at $8.
Look for a better price on the day.
Seabrook ($23) Bet Now
Nicely weighted but she’s another young type which needs to show more.
