Coolmore Legacy Stakes Form Guide & Tips
1. Alizee ($11) Bet Now
Alizee has run below her best in two runs following a win at Randwick. She would need to improve based on her recent form.
(2) Nettoyer ($9) Bet Now
Nettoyer won the Doncaster Mile last week and we’re surprised to see her backing up.
She rises up in weight from 51.5kg to 57kg and that’s going to dent her ability to finish off. The $9 is too short despite her recent success.
(3) Con Te Partiro ($16) Bet Now
She’s an enigmatic type that is good enough to cause an upset. Punters are getting reasonable odds from bookmakers and if luck goes her way, she could feature.
Expect jockey Tim Clark to ride her positively.
(4) Miss Siska ($12) Bet Now
Miss Siska didn’t fire last start but she has since won a trial at Randwick and that bodes well.
She owns eight wins from 27 starts and if there’s going to be a slight upset, it could be hers for the taking.
(5) Sweet Deal (Best Roughie – $16) Bet Now
Bookmakers have let Sweet Deal blow out in the market but she shouldn’t be overlooked.
The five-year-old mare is an eight-time winner that gets a good run from the draw and the $15 is ideal.
Put her in calculations and expect a good run.
(6) Invincible Gem ($51) Bet Now
She hasn’t been running well for a while now and she would need to find a few length to take this out.
Drawing barrier 12 won’t help her chances.
(7) Danzdanzdance ($26) Bet Now
The Kiwi came to Australia with form surrounding Melody Belle, but she hasn’t kicked on at all.
She gets back in the run and although she has been making steady ground, her turn-of-foot has disappeared.
(8) Noire ($16) Bet Now
Noire indicated that a win isn’t far away when running second at Rosehill last time out.
The Waller-trained mare is taking her time to get back in the winners’ enclosure, but we wouldn’t be ruling out her chances.
Include for a bit of value.
(9) Positive Peace ($11) Bet Now
Positive Peace has rattled off five consecutive wins and she deserves her chance at the highest level.
The Baker-trained mare hasn’t been given a good barrier of 17, but with some luck, she looks good enough to test many of these.
(10) Unforgotten ($51) Bet Now
She looked good as a youngster but her form against the older horses hasn’t been flash.
Her last three starts have yet to yield any confidence and we’re not surprised at see her running at long odds.
(11) Miss Fabulass ($26) Bet Now
Another runner that looked good early on but didn’t follow it up. Miss Fabulass is likely to struggle again but she always poses upset claims.
The daughter of Frankel is paying value odds and she could cause an upset.
(12) Spanish Reef ($51) Bet Now
The six-year-old mare doesn’t win all that often and she’s better suited to Group 3 grade.
Drawing barrier three helps but wait for her to find betting footing.
(13) Amangiri (Best Each Way – $16) Bet Now
Amangiri did enough fresh up to warrant inclusion. She finished third behind Positive Peace last start but gets a better draw.
Her second-up form reads well and punters are getting each-way odds.
(14) Pohutukawa ($15) Bet Now
The Cummings-trained mare has cost punters plenty this season and we’re not biting again.
She needs to show that she can win before we entertain her odds.
(15) Delectation Girl ($51) Bet Now
She hasn’t won for a long time now and that’s unlikely to change here. The odds are spot on.
(16) Fidelia ($81) Bet Now
Fidelia owns a nice turn-of-foot and she has hinted at a return to winning form. Her last three placings have been solid and at $81, she’s worth a stab.
(17) Funstar (Best Bet – $2.80) Bet Now
Funstar was upset last time out but she’s well-weighted here and she should prove tough to beat.
The Waller-trained filly gets down in the weights at 54.5kg and having James McDonald in the saddle helps.
Expect her to be right on the pace and to kick clear at the top of the straight.
