The four-year-old son of Snitzel scored at Geelong two starts back before finishing third at Ballarat last time out.

The $4.20 odds are good enough to include in picks.

The three-year-old filly by Snitzel was only a short margin behind the winner, so she shouldn’t have lost many admirers.

Barrier 10 isn’t ideal, but she could settle handy and kick strongly.

#8 – Boa Vista @ $3.30

Boa Vista has form at stakes level when running second at Morphettville, and she wasn’t far away when third last time out at Geelong.

The three-year-old filly by Snitzel has been firm in the betting throughout the week, but the $3.30 is likely to shorten on race night.

She won’t take long to get off the mark this season.

The four-year-old son of Dubious owns five wins from 14 starts, and getting 3kg off his back is enough to take him close.

#3 – White Hot Mama @ $2.50

Seeking consecutive wins at Cranbourne is White Hot Mama, who scored by 2.3 lengths against a tidy maiden field.

The three-year-old filly by Too Darn Hot gets all favours from the draw, and with 2kg off her back, so she won’t have any excuses.

It’s not an easy field, but she is a runner worth following.

Race 7. (20:15) Ladbrokes Sabaj BM62 (1600m)

#8 – Dancing Dolly @ $2.70

The four-year-old mare by Ace High is bred to enjoy the rise in distance, and both of her career wins have come over the mile.
